I have this system in one of my bathrooms and in there is the warmest condition then in other bathrooms, I have 7 of them. Also this way is saving you energy, because you heat up only a boiler & the hot water is always running though all pipes and you do not burn extra electro devises to keep your room warm.

Thanks for the video What if there isn’t 10cm between the door frame and the wall?

If the wall is too short at the side of the door frame, you start on the next wall and use a piece of 'dummy' unheated skirting to fill the gap. Or you start on the other side of the door and go round the room the 'other way'. This video just shows a typical 'clockwise' installation. There are parts to overcome all these issues. Hope that helps?

    How efficient is it ?

Compared to a standard radiator anywhere between 8 & 13% due to better heat distribution and no real convection currents. Can allow you to use a lower flow temperature at the boiler or even a heat pump for greater savings

@@martinwadsworth5908 Hi Martin. I just sent you an enquiry to Discreet heat. We just got out first mortgage! House renovation project and I can't wait. I want thermaskirt all round. No radiators. I'm sure I can do it on my own. Hopefully. I just worry it will cost a fortune and not add the value onto the property after. It's more expensive than I expected!

What if you have a concrete floor ?

      Hi,
If you have a concrete floor, we generally chase the flooring out, or as shown at the end of the video, we use an architrave bypass kit.

Looks like a load of faff to me, Why can't you just use a radiator that will give you a lot more heat plus you can dry your washing on it (the wife says) The electric version is even worse with the amount of energy it uses.

Most houses I see with radiators have "lovely" pipe work run on the surface, sometimes in "tasteful" plastic trunking. Often to save faff they put radiator on an inside wall thus making a lovely circulation of cold air running over your feet.
The faff is in concealing the pipework.
If you dry clothes indoors without open windows you create a health issue with high moisture levels and risk of mould.
If you use electric to create heat then you will really notice the difference between heating the air with traditional radiators and using this true radiant system because of the 30% odd saving of energy at 6x the price per kilowatt over gas becomes significant amount of money.

Guess compared to hanging a bog standard radiator it might be, but have you tried replacing a radiator with underfloor heating? Now that's a FAFF!
