Going through a traumatizing break up. This song hits me every time. You didn't deserve this and I should've never taken you for granted. Wish i could change what i did because now that you're gone i know what i lost. I'm so sorry for ruining everything. You're still the first person i think of when i wake up every morning and I'm always wondering how you're doing or where you are. This song hits all of my emotions. It makes me think of my childhood, my future, memories of those I’ve lost. It honestly makes me cry, but in a good way.
you’re in your bed, it’s raining, it’s early in the morning and foggy. your curtains are open and you can see the forest beyond the glass. you decide to go outside and hear this song being played and something about it lures you further into the forest. as you go in more, the song becomes louder. suddenly all your favourite memories come rushing back to you and something about the song reminds you of your favourite person. memories from your childhood flood in and what feels like seconds, has been years. everyone you know and love are gone. you’re stuck here forever, remembering everything and listening to this song but you don’t mind. it calms you. suddenly you see a cat. the cat comes up to you and cuddles you. you are suddenly back in your bed and the cat is still with you. you look out the window. same view as before except something is different. the trees are shaped like your favourite people.

This speaks to my inner child. I love this song! Another Nostalgic sounding tune! Cherish ones like these. This song makes me introspective, and remember the good & happy times in my early childhood; the wonder & curiosity; meeting up with the neighborhood kids to ride bikes & explore the nearby woods. Ill be 29 in two days, 30 next year. Time has moved on so fast. It feels like everything has escsped me, while at the same time, life moves on around & without my input. I dont know what my purpose is in life, I dont know why I am here. Why I exist. Allot of my family I grew up with, have died from age or illness, my siblings are in their mid 20s now, my parrnts are looking older now almost in their 50s, my grandparents died.. Life kinda sucks once you lose your innocence with age, once youre aware of the world around you & the reality of it all sets in. But its songs like this, that allow me for just a few moments, to feel like a kid again as I remmeber better, more intensely, all the memories from my childhood thst made me happy.
