I've been waiting for black journey ever since the trailer came out and my hype was worth it!!!! Hunting charm was very good as well 😭😭😭💕💕💕 Also, reason to fight made me feel like I'm actually on the bleachers, watching them battle it out. I'm so in loveeeeee

Nahh I'll have to absolutely disagree on the MTC.. Everything about hunting charm was iconic, from samatoki's voice being lower than usual songs to jyuto responding to the tragic transistor diss to the ending verses it was all just ... so good!!
Oh yes I definitely still enjoy the song and think it’s good. For me it’s just hard to compare it the rest of the songs and I wasn’t surprised by it, it’s what I’d expect from mtc. Will definitely still be jamming to it when it comes on though haha

Yeah I'm usually not much of a fan of slow songs, but both Kaigen and Tomoshibi are really good! I really like Matenrou too, but I'm also hoping for bat to beat them. I just really want someone other than them to win overall since they one last time.
I think the same thing about Fling Posse as well; for the 2nd DRB, it felt really satisfying for them to win. The stakes surrounding their reason for fighting far outweigh everyone else’s, since most of their journeys stop after beating/losing to the other team in the first round(Side note: it would have felt satisfying for Nagoya to win over Shinjuku, but it would have wrapped up Hitoya’s character too soon, so maybe it’s for the best they lost). Fling Posse was the only team to have a reason to actually win the 2nd DRB, and so it felt complete when they did indeed win. Also, Black Journey and Kaigen(開眼) slap and you will not convince me otherwise.

hypmic/hip hop fan here who stumbled upon this video and OMG a bit of this video and a lot of the comments here physically hurt me!! i am cringing at how underrated joy for struggle is..... ichiro drops one of his craziest verses of all time based on flow alone, the sasara/rosho bit is hilarious and scathing, and out of all the battle songs, it's easily the one closest to the hip hop roots hypmic is (supposed to be) all about. we all got our own opinions but im begging yall to give joy for struggle a chance. LOL

Doppo and Hifumi could learn to build their individual strengths since they depend on each other way too much. Kuko could prove to his father that he is a good leader and has what it takes. Jyushi could gain the confidence boost that he truly needs . Anyways, I pray that the Japanese fans will make the right call🙏🏻
