A turn-based strategy shooter developed by Image & Form. This game follows the events of SteamWorld Dig 2 where the planet had been destroyed and now space has become a ruthless and dangerous hive of villainy and scum! You’ll need to loot and shoot your way through a variety of procedurally generated missions which you can replay at any time. Lots of customization by way of party choice and equipment load outs. All told I spent 30+ hours playing this game. My first run took 18 hours as I was interested in power leveling all my characters and exploring their unique abilities. In my second run I focused on finding rare items and hats while playing with my favourite characters.
Tons of fun all around!

Pros
Great value in a decent and enjoyable story that will last you some time, Interesting ricochet mechanics, customization with party and equipment, freedom to play and replay missions how you like.
Cons
Enemies spawning and overwhelming you if you’re not fast enough, watching enemy movements can be tiresome (this can be turned off in options), no ability to rewind a move if you accidentally miss clicked or misplaced a character forcing you to quit out and replay the turn.

Dude, your reviews are seriously some of the best.
Quick and dirty is how I like it haha
Make sure to sub to my underrated channel. I make all sorts of funny reviews and easy guides. Appreciate the kind words!
There are some things that you learn only by trial and error. For instance, enemies can only move about 5 spaces if they also want to attack on the same turn. It's best to position your guys in ideal spots before opening a door to a new location, because once that door is open, every enemy in the room will know where you are. If you retreat out of room without killing all the enemies, they may try to get to you through a room you haven't revealed yet, making it impossible to tell when they're going to bust through the door of that room to attack you. Also I believe if you position your units in melee range, enemies have no choice but to punch you on their turn. This makes them get out of cover as well.
Hey Shenanigans029
! I pinned your comment so that other viewers may benefit from your findings. Thanks for sharing those pro tips. I hope you enjoyed the video and maybe even checked out some other videos on my channel :D
Criminally underrated channel, great reviews man. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the kind words RiNSE! Been at this for a year and yeah...growth is painfully slow considering how much time I pour into it. But I love making these reviews and videos so if you keep watching, liking, and sharing I'll keep making videos and hopefully RUclips will share my stuff more broadly soon enough...I hope :(
@@UncomfortableGameShorts Your stuff is definitely as good as what the top-tier reviewers put out, very entertaining. I'm not in the RUclips game, but the algorithm is whack and crushes anyone who is starting out. You need to find other ways to promote yourself. There was a Pyrocynical video about that, find a network that will feature your content, or ask Mandalore to feature you in one of his videos. Or just ask them for advice. I'll link you to their videos on the topic, keep up the good work! Pyro on networks - ruclips.net/video/pfj5Ld0C4so/видео.html Mando on metadata at the 15 minute mark - ruclips.net/video/fyYHNbJCyB8/видео.html
@@UncomfortableGameShorts You'll be blessed by the algorithm one day, no doubt. Advertising is a good way to get exposure though.
I know im 3 years late but this quick and dirty review style is great!
Thanks Mark! I made tons of videos and I feel like I've improved a lot from this old one. Hope you subbed to my underrated channel and told your friends.
One of the greatest review! I love the detail in the description. No other reviewers care to even write pros and cons. I feel passion and love in your work!
Redsun...honestly, that was one of the kindest comments of my reviews. I pour a lot of time and effort into these and love what I do. If you continue to watch, share, comment, and subscribe it may encourage RUclips to share my videos more broadly...maybe then I can start getting paid for this work :S
@@UncomfortableGameShorts Will do! You and your channel have so much potential. Great length of the video, great pacing, smooth editing, tells us everything we need to know and an awesome voice.
I would hope to see your channel grow more!
@@暁斗-p4y Again thanks. This really helps me stay motivated :)
Steamworld Dig 1&2 were awesome, I should give this a try too :) Good Review. Keep it up!
Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I'm pretty impressed with Image & Form. I think they are doing a great job.
I really like your videos. keep it up. You deserve more.
Thanks True Victory (I think that's what your name means). I've been at this for a year. Growth is slow but every sub helps! If you keep watching, liking, sharing, and commenting on my videos, then maybe RUclips will share them more. Only 124 people have seen this one T.T
This is the best review of the game I’ve ever seen
Kaitou! I'm so glad you found my channel! Hope you subbed because I make lots of reviews and guides for all sorts of games. See you around the comments and tell your friends about my channel ;)
@@UncomfortableGameShorts already did
Sounds great, especially around 3$ on sale ! :D
Great game. Huge value for that cost!
Big fan of this game, still hoping they make a sequel.
Yeah, awesome game devs! Hope you sub to my underrated channel!
Great review. I loved Dig 1 and wished it didn't end. I don't think I cared much for Dig 2. I keep looking at Heist, but my main concern is that I'll lose interest before completing it or I'll reach a difficulty spike that will kill my interest. It's on sale for only $3 right now, but I think I'm going to have to pass. Looks like a great game, though.
For $3, that is an absolute steal! Hope you sub to make it easier to find my reviews and guides in the future.
