KDE 5.27.1 on Gentoo Linux

Recently, after listening to a podcast about how the KDE development team is fixing issues with there flagship desktop (Plasma) I wanted to see if I could install it on Gentoo linux and I wanted to see if I could install the latest and greatest edition (5.27.1) and not get any compile errors.. Join me in this video as I go over what I had to do in order to get this thing to compile and what I had to add to my config files before it even installed. Spoiler alert.. it actually compiled fine and surprisingly enough, it runs pretty smooth.

I have not. I have a Nvidia graphics card and Wayland runs like crap on Nvidia now after they fix all the bugs and kinks with the driver and Wayland, yes I will give it a try
