Im using the same exact settings for this game 😂. BTW, using dlaa mod in this game is really darn good, prevents ghosting issues with dlss or aliasing problems with native, CPU bottlenecked anyway so might as well 😂
even if you dont have the mask and you play with someone who does, your game will crash. There's a mod available that reskins this mask and prevents this issue.
It is interesting to see the differences between the game pass version and the steam/epic version... I will definitely be buying the game on steam once the servers are fixed. I cannot be sure if the game pass version is using dlss, but I have my suspicions it is not. We cannot use dx12, and the center of all the banks run kinda trashy, going from 120fps to ~70.
They gotta make dx12 on game pass ffs. I've tried the methods some people brought up but they don't even launch it in dx12. The optimization has a long way to go... Granted I got an older GPU, but it's still pretty decent, I've got a 1080-ti with a good cpu, enough ram and everything else. Just for some reason even on low settings this game will max out the GPU and only give me like 90-95 fps but I got a 144 hertz monitor so it's very noticeable.
I agree that it's not the most ideal thing, but, since DX11 has the same frame time spikes as well, this is not that different than before, but as I said in the video, if you are having more stutters with dx12, you can simply revert back to dx11 if you want. The frame time spikes happened on Payday 2 as well, it's just the game's optimization that sucks TBH, I have no idea why it's not been fixed with this new game and engine.
These settings are NOT "optimized" because in the game's current state, it WILL CRASH as soon as it tries to render the "Skull of Liberty" mask. Apart from that, I don't like the use of upscaling as part of "optimisation", but that's just me, "Real/Native FPS > Fake/Upscaled FPS > Bad FPS".
i strongly suggest using DLAA mod, it doesnt have any of the graphical issues from both Native and DLSS. Just keep in mind that it taxes 10% FPS from native.
if it made a shortcut on your desktop right click on it go to the shortcut menu and add "-dx12" next to the shortcut or just -dx12 if adding "s doesn't work

guys if you dont already know, changing your effects settings from low to medium makes the scopes look better when you ADS

This might sound stupid, but launch the game without the -dx12 parameter -> Unequip the liberty mask -> Restart game with -dx12

Also add that the Liberty Mask with Dx12 enabled will crash you game for those who have the Ultimate Edition.

Funny thing is that native in some games are not even look great whatsoever and actually look worse but I get your point for native "supremacy".
