The new Lighting is really impressive and shows the true colours of your items. There are peaks and throughs but sure there will be an upturn for you as Antiques and collectables will never go out of fashion!

well done on the diet. January is always an iffy month in retail. You will have a much better idea in a year of the ups and downs of sales, but I am sure you will do well as you have the right attitude and are looking at the stock you sell and getting to know your customers. The lights will make a huge difference in the cabinets

Walter the food looks delicious !!! Eat plenty of greens !!! You may be cold due to the protein lack from the meats ! Eat more peanut butter !! and pinto beans !!! The shop is lovely , the lighting is good. My parents were antique dealers , as well as my best friends are antique dealers and yes after Christmas was always slow for my parents and it is slow now for my friends ! Due to Christmas spending and the decorations coming down puts people off in general. When the rush feeling wears off you are back in business !!! I hope to visit England when I decide to retire so hopefully I will get to meet you and that lovely Sandra one day ! Keep up the spirit , business should pick up soon !! Oh you are filming in the backroom, the private staff only is the bathroom, I thought you weren't using the back room. I love the lights in the cabinets, what a difference!! Your shop looks amazing from the road! The crystal cabinet looks great too! I know how to warm you up, you need more cuddles!!! XX
Hi Love, yeah i have two rooms for the shop and a back room for toilet and microwave etc, the lights do make a huge dif dont they, and yeah def need more cuddles , take care love xx
Congrats on the diet. Everyone is quiet at the mo so don't panic yet. I'm sure your sales will pick up - you've got great stock so no reason why people won't start buying - probably once they've had their January pay cheque!

Hi Walter don't worry January is always been really bad for me as well but it will pick up.you're new lighting looks great. Keep up with the diet fresh fish would be better.

It's always quite this time of year Walter...dealers I sell to won't ..buy till march.. getting ready for Easter...so I just put me feet up and buy in .. all will be good

Hi, Walter, glad the diet is going well. I would really miss tea if I couldn't have it. Maybe you could try hot water with/without lemon in place of it when you're feeling especially cold.
I know it is easier said than done but try not to stress about the sales Walter , sure it is the post Christmas blues - people are counting their pennies till pay day at the end of the month. It has been quiet for nearly all the sellers I know. Shop is looking great.

Fish Finger Diet, you should try real Fish, better for you and Bunny food, need exercise too, I’m on a diet as well, don’t want to be on the beach in the Summer and GreenPeace trying to push be back in.

January February always poor. Use the time to sort out dud stock clear that and keep going.

It's probably just because of xmas, mate. I wouldn't worry too much for now anyway, Walter. Are you getting a lot of people bringing in the silver and gold, mate? I don't think it's you, fella. People tend to hoard their money after xmas, for a little while, anyway.
Hi Joe, i am having all sorts in atm mate, out of very 10 that come in the shop 8 are trying to sell to me, its quiet but i am sure will work out ok next month
