Yes o didn’t because fender had some scratches and it was pained after that. But you’re right. If I wasn’t plant to paint it I would seal the holes for sure
Is the Indian logo a sticker that goes on the headdress piece? I’m wondering how durable it is in the long run compared to the other headdress you had installed.
Very cool!!! Thanks, man, I intended to put Challenger Warbonnet on my Springfield. I have two questions: 1) Is the connector of common Warbonnet equal to Challenger onde? 2) Mine is a CLASSIC Springfield. Does the shape of the fender (round) interfere if I put a DARK HORSE Challenger one?
Awesome video! Just oreder a new cheiftain this year. Always wondered if this was possible. Question: the plug that works for that, does it come on the bike already or is it a separate wireing harness?
I know you drilled a hole for the wire. Did you have to drill any other holes ? Ie the mounting holes of the original war bonnet line up with the challenger war bonnet. I know you said to use original screws from old bonnet.
It’s all about your comfort level. I had a great success with crazy glue plus the clip themselves have their own 3M adhesive. But of course JB Weld does a great job too.
Nice video mate. Just one question. I pulled my headlight assembly and tried to locate the war bonnet cable. I could find a 2 pin connector insulated with other harness but no label. The connector has named as PED A B. Does this make any sense?
Its all about wiring. I don't think Indian Scout has the factory wiring ready for this install unless you do it yourself and find a way to feed the light with power
@@Cometocanadabut ok I got cha. I know well I guess I'll do that. I was hoping not to have to but that's the way it is. Thx for replying. Stay safe up there in the great white north.
Latino Biker that should be fine too as long as they know it comes with everything you need. My dealer even didn’t know it fits my bike until I told them. I don’t even know it’s there after I install it 😁
Latino Biker it depends what is your priority is. It’s for the looks and it doesn’t really do anything else. I can’t even see it while I am riding. And when I am not riding the bike is turned off 😁
RealBox I’m not saying there’s no room I’m saying if something happens and that gets wrapped up in your wheel you can kiss your fender good bye or worse go down.
William Watkins it’s already installed on the Indian challenger the same way. Even one in a million if it happened, it won’t go the same way as you think. Remind me with final destination movie. It’s a very thin wire and worst-case scenario the wire will cut.
William Watkins I respect you are a mechanic. But I didn't invent it. It's factory installed on Indian challenger 2020. Wire under the fender no problem. And also on previous Indian models and people have tons of miles without any issues.
I like it with out the indian faces on the side I didn't know that was separate,,, ima put mines on without it
Nice install, I did notice that you didn't seal the hole you made or around the screws underneath the fender. Reduce the risk of rust.

I ordered the exact Challenger Headdress and it came with the L-R headdress badges.
Nice. It will look great for sure.

The plug is already there. It’s labeled with war bonnet on it so all good. Even the dealership didn’t know that when I told them it’s plug and play.
Glad you made this video, been thinking of doing this swap. Curious on brand of your front turn signal lenses.
They’re the stock lenses but I used spray.

Can I add this to my chief bobber ?
Great video only one little critique. Dude the motion sickness. 🤢 I might just have to get one of these for my bike
I would NEVER trust crazy glue..........unless you just want to bond your fingers together. =-} I would use JB Weld instead!

There is no other cable should be there. It's 2 pin yes. What year is your bike?

Is this also possible for the 2020 Indian scout bobber twenty?
Its all about wiring. I don't think Indian Scout has the factory wiring ready for this install unless you do it yourself and find a way to feed the light with power
Love that light. Quick question where did you find the smoked lens for your front turn signals?
I used spray. There is no way to get smoked lens for these light because and as you know Indian made the light built in with the lenses

Did you have to buy everything separate or the dealer sell them as a kit?
Everything separate. But the dealer should know what you need

It’s cool but not sure about having wires that close to a spinning wheel.
There is a lot of room to run more than one wires. I was thinking the same way but nothing to worry about.
