No matter we try to spiritualise it, Arabian or Turkish or Persian music would remain basically secular, at least in the muslim context. Only middle eastern Christian can claim their music is spiritual since a great deal of their musical heritage has been composed by church men.
As far as I can tell, from high to low, f - c - g - d - A - D. This is a tuning that I've found easy, as a guitarist, to use. In "normal" Iraqi tuning, the lowest string would be tuned to F or possibly E.
