I don't know which version decided to sack Zen in the first place, but it seems weird that even even the origin server for Zen decided to remove everything Zen entirely. Was low player participation of Zen really the cause?
Nope it wasn't it's being removed because TMS no longer supports the character updates(which SEA copypastas off). TMS tho wants something different from GMS so zen got revamped/reworked into mo xuan
I still think that is very bad that next one is doing this pulling out jobs like that permanently that's the first time I ever heard is as well why would they delete this permanently.

Players in TMS can change their Zens to Mo Xuan, while SEA gets this procedure shown in the video, and CMS players get... 300 power elixirs (China really knows how to rip off their players, don't they). I don't know if there's one too many pirate explorers, but maybe low player participation as Zen was the problem. I don't know. As for Mo Xuan in other regions, I don't see something like this in the other 3 regions (Korea, Japan, Global), since those three tend to be closer to each other, more or less, for the better or the worse (worse then GMS removed Singapore, for example, because KMS and JMS don't have it). I wish we could, since Mo Xuan has a different play style from Zen or Jett (actually, Zen and Jett are pretty much reskins of each other), but maybe that requires contractual issues since KMS, JMS, and GMS are all under Nexon, while CMS, TMS, and SEA have their own publishers that aren't Nexon, meaning contractual agreements would have to be made.

People dont really play him so they dont want to have to maintain it, like job balancing/bug fixing/making sure it doesnt cause issues with new content, it's a lot of work for a class no one plays

Jett is still safe, they even received 4th V skill. Zen doesn't even receive 4th V skill and can't participate in any events during AWAKE update.
