    2:41 Hit confirming a CH dck f2 into a duck cancel, then side stepping and starting a combo? Meanwhile, I don't even have the reflexes to escape grabs. D:

    is that a new string steve has... like at 3:14 after the duck F2 that caused collapse i see he goes into his usual bnb but then he does another duck f2 and it puts him in a bound state with his legs up (..... but i thought this game doesn't have bounds) so yeah is that a new move or did iust never seen that before

    • @victormutta1115
      @victormutta1115 9 лет назад

      +Kuroi Sora They've removed the bound mechanic in favour of a "screw" mechanic that corkscrews someone through the air.

    • @kuroisora470
      @kuroisora470 9 лет назад

      whats the difference lol... still looks like a state that allows you to continue a combo....

    • @victormutta1115
      @victormutta1115 9 лет назад

      Kuroi Sora A number of differences.
      He loses 6 bound moves (ff2, FLK1f1, dck ws12, FLK2, fff2, and PKB121) for 3 screw moves (dck f2, FLK1d1, and 311). Though, I can't recall seeing 311 in a combo.
      He loses 2 bnb followups (f21b, flk1, alb2 and f21b, dck1) for just 1 (ext dck1, dash SF).
      Without bounds, he loses dck ws12 combo damage potential AND wall combo damage potential (FLK b2, f21, db ws12, 311 was my shit!!).
      While it performs the same function, screw changes combo options rather drastically.

      ***** Wow....like WOOOOW i actually understood all the notations (thats so awesome ^__^) ok back to this.... yeah thats what i was realising.... it seems like duck cancel to wildman just seems not worth it since it just knocks them to the ground.. ahh i don't know ill see when the game comes out...

      So what do you think guys? Buff or nerf? I wish he have a decent launcher bow because of this new screw mechanic

    i think in new bound system duck cancel don't be that important like in TT2 or T6

    • @overkillrick
      @overkillrick 9 лет назад +3

      ***** well duck cancelling inbetween strings is what makes steve safe, certain strings are unsafe on block, but when duck cancelled are safe

  • @edvinisteinidiot
    @edvinisteinidiot 8 лет назад +4

    I've always wondered, why do professional steve players never use the flicker stance or the peek a boo style. I use them a lot and they are a good tool to varait your attaks and make you less predictable.

    • @clydekiamco4485
      @clydekiamco4485 8 лет назад +2

      huh? yes they do.

      They i've probably never seen them, well if they do then that makes me happy :D

    • @bre4kd0wn1
      @bre4kd0wn1 7 лет назад

      Cherif Never? Nope. They did use the Flicker Stance and the Peek-A-Boo sometimes. Flicker jab (FS 1) is one of the most used moves by most, if not all, Steve players. You can also see Nin doing the Steve Fox Shoryuken (PAB u+2), PAB Grab (PAB 1+2), and he also knocked Paul down with PAB df+1, 2.

    YOU WIN that was from tekken 3.

  • @trellified
    @trellified 9 лет назад

    This looks ridiculously hard. Jeez. Why're Steve's combos sooo difficult to execute?!

    • @trellified
      @trellified 9 лет назад

      Good for you. Steve's still tough to play. What difference does it make who the hardest character int he game is? I said Steve was difficult *for me* to execute combos with; I didn't say he was the hardest character in the game.

    • @victormutta1115
      @victormutta1115 9 лет назад +2

      +trellified Steve is probably easier in T7 than ever before as he doesn't rely on duck canceling for maximum damage. And duck canceling isn't a notoriously difficult move to learn and doesn't take too long to reliably execute.
      Unless you're talking about the bit where Steve needs counter hits to start his more dangerous combos.

  • @victormutta1115
    @victormutta1115 9 лет назад

    1:25 Wait, did he just duck transition from a 1212? o_o
    3:23 And duck transition from a df2? o_o
    Holy shit, can Steve now duck/flicker/PKB transition from both punches? XD

    • @kuroisora470
      @kuroisora470 9 лет назад

      +Victor Mutta if i recall all steve could do after 1212 was sway either left or right but if he can duck that helps for those folk that just try hitting high

    • @victormutta1115
      @victormutta1115 9 лет назад

      +Kuroi Sora Yup. And a back sway. But with a ducking option, he now has full mobility forward, back and sideways with his 1 AND his 2.

    it seems like this game is really gonna play alot like tekken revolution... i kinda liked bounds in the game but it seems kinda dumb that some character get bound moves and other doesn't like lee and his freakin running 4, (3+4) will still be bounds in this game... plus that new character katarina has a bound move....

    • @The_Pantologist57
      @The_Pantologist57 8 лет назад +1

      Question, what are bounds?

    • @bre4kd0wn1
      @bre4kd0wn1 7 лет назад

      S3KT0PL3X 157
      Bound is a situation where the players can extend the combo after juggling or stunning and then knocking down the opponent.
      In Tekken 6 and TTT2, in order to bound your opponent to the ground, you have to add certain moves to the combo, for example with Kazuya's sample combo 7: EWGF 2x, df+1,2, B!
      B! here means Bound. You can continue the combo with, for instance:
      df+1,f+2, or 3,1, DEWGF/DDEWGF or DEWGF, DDEWGF.
      In Tekken 7, it's all different than Tekken 6 and TTT2. I personally say it's rather easier to bound your opponent, but kinda harder to continue your combo or to end it. You still have to juggle or stun your opponents, then add bound (or screw) move(s) to the combo to extend it. This is where things got different. Kazuya's df+1,2 is no more a bound move, Kazuya's df+1,4 is. Therefore, in order to bound your opponent, it would be like this:
      EWGF 2x, df+1,4, B!
      I still don't find a way to continue or to end Kazuya's combo after the bound, so I'm not sure.
      Hope this helps. Just ask if you have a question or two. :)

      Nizamuddin Arriyadhi Sweet thank you, also I am unfamiliar with all of the meaning of DEWGF, I get stuff like f+2 or like 3,1 but it's the letters you combined that I don't get.

    Nina Williams is the mother of Steve??? That's what Tekken wiki says..

      +Cara De Vega but since nina is like a spy and all that she couldn't take care of steve so she sent him to live with some doctor that ends up being leo's mom..... and thus the steve fox/leo ship began :/

      +Cara De Vega Nina was made pregnant without herself knowing during her cryostasis (sleep while freezing). I don't know the methods though.

      @syaredzaashrafi1101 8 лет назад

      you said Leo could possibly be lesbian that's mean she a girl. i thought Leo was a guy. i thought that because of what i read in some tekken forum that Leo was originally suppose to be a girl but they made him into guy for some reason. if i'm wrong then sorry.
