If my bike has been running lean after I put in a new exhaust system, will the unrestricted mapping help it enough so the bike does not run too lean? My bike has been struggling a bit with power delivery since the new exhaust
Installing an exhaust will not make a modern sportbike run lean enough to damage it. If you are concerned or feel the power delivery could be improved you need to take the bike in and have it tuned. - Van
If you are happy with the performance of the bike no need to flash it. We have installed several systems on bikes without any tuning with zero issues. - Van
I’m having the same problem as you. I tried removing the ecu and not powering off the bike or disconnecting the 6pin. It still won’t flash. Not sure what to do?
Shoot their tech support a call. They are excellent IMO. Once you get the ECU to accept the first flash you will not have a problem with any that follow. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Thanks... I got it sorted out. I deleted the file from the program then went into the save folder in C:\Documents and deleted that too. I re-downloaded it through FlashTune and it worked fine. 19 failed attempts... 20th time is the charm tho. :D

How bad would it be for the bike besides the laws doing this ecu flash then runing it as a street bike daily would it encounter any problems?

No that is a flag that was flown overseas for us by a customer. - Van
Used FTecu for my MT07 and don’t recommended it at all! Overpriced and bad customer support.
