No way people get annoyed when LEGO is cartoony 💀
Yeah but if your doing a action stop motion that’s super serious it gets annoying but in general it’s fine
@@Marvel_Motions That's not super serious
@@user-tr2mb4xs7i actually yes it is stop motion can be really serious to the point where goofy stuff won’t work for it there are very dark stop motion out
@@Marvel_Motions 🤯
@@Marvel_Motionsbruh it's lego. It physically cannot be more serious than like a 2/10.

Yes but what if i dont like it?
I feel like this is just silly enough for lego. Like a character in a lego game would try to take a sample and just end up picking up the whole piece.

That's why I don't mind off-brand lego. I'm not chopping up and drilling holes in actual legos but catch me modding tf out of a random dollar store brand version
Swear I used to mod out and paint my halo minifigs
I never thought about this one, for stop motions from certain angles (I hate production so much) it can help using off brand pieces or figs, to damage them then edit it out or in on the real figure from a different angle (like a movie production) it’s work and time consuming but will create an amazing stop motion using cheap figs to “destroy or customize for scenes
@@bootsND bro halo mega figs are just as good if not better than Lego in my opinion
@@rileymeyer9821 they are but they don’t cost as much as lego so I wasn’t too worried about messing with them

i like the classic use of red clay to animate in stop motion videos of lego, it keeps that sense of nostalgia while not trying to make everything a realistic scaled down version into lego as the roots of its classic or basic color schematics and design are what holds true though all these years
Here is a simple trick. Have bricks, tiles, and more be red amongst the other bricks. If you have a tile floor or use a method of bricks on their side for different effects you can build a blood stained floor by swapping out different colors. You can use red snakes for guts and the piece that goes on top of a knights helmet for further blood effects.
I remember my dad and I tried to make a medieval battle scene and we used clear red silicone and poured it to make it look like blood, it worked REALLY well and cleaning up areas where we didn’t want it was super easy. Definitely cheaper than getting a bunch of these, but for a small scene, these look amazing.
It is really helpful my Mocs look way better :)

lego fans using real dead corpses and bricks for their new build (using legos would make it look cartoony)
Bro I remember when I was younger I wanted my avenger legos to be bloody like the movies, so when I cut my arm really bad after falling on bricks instead of wrapping my arm up, I when upstairs and filled a small cup with blood and used it as prop blood💀

you could use a red putty to mimic blood which in my opinion is way better since it doesn't make the lego dirty and it can stick to the legos

That thumbnail is the 3 seconds before my dream ends
"(...) and using red studs is way too cartoony (...)" : Ah yes, of course, thank to that new piece Legos are now super realistic 🙄! I don't think "cartoony" is the right word here, rough or unpolished would be more appropriate cause while it look a lot cleaner, this "blood splatter" piece look just as cartoony if not more. Think about it, if anything, perfect consistent shape is the definition of "cartoony". Like when you think of a "cartoon" bone = 🦴, or "cartoon" heart = ❤ or "cartoon" star = ⭐, those are the shape that comes to mind. Besides, being cartoony is kind of Lego whole appeal.
You can add blood for FREE just punch a tree or a wall as hard as you can or scrape your skin and put the blood on the figures!
It’s a good idea right?..
The custom lego piece looks like a melted red lego stud
that could be really useful for undead or war builds, maybe even murder scenes
the last piece is me when lego piece
I love that it goes around the studs 😂 Lego can be silly sometimes
You said Lego studs are to cartoony for blood. But that's also technically a Lego stud.
Who else noticed that RUclips changed the thumbnail?
Best part is it flows between the stud bits. how realistic!
Lil bro needs that piece for his LEGO lore 💀💀
not me thinking he was about to say “just use real blood!”
All of these methods are valid but I'm glad there's a piece.
“Are you tired of your toys looking like toys!?”
People trying to put blood on Lego are the same kind of people who dip ice cream in Ranch
love how it flows between the studs. its actually kind of funny to think about.
Finally, brickforge is becoming popular again
I was not aware that I needed this, but now I must have it.
I think Lego doesn’t really need blood that fits into the Lego-style.
Lego is a children’s toy, so either it’s bloodless (like the Lego videogames) or it’s absurdly graphic fake blood like in those old stop motion videos (which is so over the top that it starts to look comical again).
But blood that looks like a Lego piece just brings a level of reality and violence into the world that takes away from the childish innocence that makes Lego so appealing.
You can also tint latex red to make sure it's removable, just make sure the coloring doesn't stain the Legos
Reminds me of ScottPropandRoll's blood prop,
not only does it not ruin your sets it also doesn't make a Bloody Mess
Tried to make a Dad joke and failed since I'm not a Dad...
Who remembers those 15 minute Lego videos where they used red clay as blood
This honestly helps alot
Meanwhile me and my cousins enjoying a block of red clay*
They need to make a purple version for the Grimace Shake trend but in Lego
Finally a way that doesn't ruin the legos
Og stop motion animators: hmmmm red clay it is
I use blue LEGO studs for water, green LEGO studs for slime, even red LEGO studs for blood. I know it’s way too cartoonish, but it’s what I can do.
just looks like the stud method lol
😂
@@PortalMasterStudios "Does the stud method look too cartoony?"

Am I the only one who used Play-doh as blood for Lego when I was little? Man, time flies…
Imagine the pain trying to take that blood piece off.
washable red crayola markers on mini figs is what I did when I was younger! Does the trick wonderfully and wipes clean off when you’re done
It just fits so good
Cant wait for someone to make Walter White's death in lego
Gl getting it out😊
I think that head crying blood looks like that bald man that you seem in your nightmares named Andrew tate.
The old lego animations that used red playdough:🗿
Trichophagia is the compulsive eating of hair associated with trichotillomania (hair pulling).[1] In trichophagia, people with trichotillomania also ingest the hair that they pull; in extreme cases this can lead to a hair ball (trichobezoar).[2] The term is derived from ancient Greek θρίξ, thrix ("hair") and φαγεῖν, phagein ("to eat").
You can also use Play-Doh
“Stuck using red studs that look way too cartoony” so does that bro I mean it kinda looks like you spills something on it and it dried there 😂
You could just get transparent red round 1x1 tile pieces instead
Brickforge is goated
I once used my own blood. I cut myself while shaving, and instead of worrying, I said "Great! My battle is complete"
The thumbnail is so brutal🗿
Those brick will be good for some to make a Batman scene with
I used red slime. It works good enough, as long as you avoid using it on any holes, as they fill up
POV me:mom can you buy me Lego FNAF please
i felt that thumbnail
Only legends remember clay as blood
Love the video! You make these topics I know nothing about fun and interesting to learn :)
Also something about the existential horror of being brought back from nothingness always intrigues me
I just watched an ad for a single lego piece.
"Umm... Why can't I pick this up?"
it doesn’t lock and is gel
or I guess rubber
By "ruining" you mean reinventing the peice, yes? I consider painting on my minifigs to be a work of creation rather than destruction, making it an art form.
Me who just slit my wrists to spill blood all over my Legos: 👀 dammit
Red clay worked a treat for forestfire101 in the early days
The lego friends sets have the bright red flowers that work amazingly well. Shame I think I traumatized my little sister
That looks more cartoonier than red stude
Why do that when you can use nose blood, is free, and easy to clean up
Yes i am speaking from experience
the build at 0:08 IS SO COOL
Better yet, use your own blood
Instructions unclear (I ate it thinking it was a fruit roll-up) #darwinism
Red studs are the classic. You can get better, but it’s not bad.
This product is genius, except for the fact that lego is notorious for giving you hell when trying to take a piece off of a set. Seeing the way this piece fits around the studs, I can already tell that no lego removal tool is gonna get it off 💀
"or proper blood" 💀
Me who's been watching Forrestfire videos as a kid and seeing Blood made out of Play-Doh
Man i feel like things like that should be reserved for third party companies, i dont think the general population of lego enthusiasts or even just casual builders want… blood…
Red wax... Melt a red candle....
I'm can think of at least 2 other ideas at the top of my head.
Yooooo. That’s actually the coolest custom piece ever. I remember the good old days when Lego stop motion creators used red clay/playdoh
