My boyfriend used to take me there every Saturday after college classes years ago. He lives in America now and I'm living in Hong Kong, and we're watching this together online.. this brings so many memories to us. ❤️
ha try here in taiwan. what they call chipie or chicken pie. its just a street food to them or snack. its a breaded whole breast part as big as yahh face yall Haha
So cute! I miss Salcedo Market, we used to go there with my friends on Sunday morning. You should definitely try more of our local dishes from other parts of the Philippines. ♥️🇹🇼🇵🇭
Filipino food is the best, in my opinion. But every Nation has their specialties when it comes to food. But street Filipino foods. I'm craving these foods while watching this video 🤤
Totally true and Salcedo Village market is one of my favorite foodie markets to go too. I went there last Christmas vacation. Totally great experience! A lot of great food where you can get Spanish, Thai, Indian, chinese style fresh lumpia, dirty ice cream and more independent Filipino snacks. You can find everything here! It is truly a foodie heaven galore!
TJ, you're so cute when you said Ilocos 😂 Gosh, I miss taho! ❤️ I'm addicted to vinegar, too. I actually drink it every time I eat something with it.. lol
Hi ms. Tj. Im a fan of yours from the Philippines. 😊 we always watch your videos. Me and my friend louigi. Hope to see more of you here in our country.
Don't think much abt d food n fresh vegetables when I was living in Salcedo right behind d Market. Now... I am salivating away watching it in Singapore.
To see a person on here like you so energized personality and you seem like you love life thanks for giving me a smile in life with alls going on in the world you was a blessing to watch on a snowing morning
I am literally going to be in Makati this weekend. Before I venture out to the islands. I will definitely check that place out if I could find it haha. Thanks for all the videos you put together in the Philippines. It’s super informative and very helpful. I’m super excited for my 6 weeks vacation to the Philippines.
I’m following your footsteps. I booked Oslob whale sharks thing and Canyoneering. I will ended up in Sequijor most likely. I’m not quite sure if you have been to Siargao. I’m searching if you have vlogs there. That’s my other destination and Boracay.
Great video, TJ! I can definitely eat that whole fish by myself, looked so delish and crazy cheap! The eggplant lasagna/parm had my mouth watering. You are adorable and so funny. Great job, as always :)
That smile you made was so cute when had that spoonful of taho. Whoever you were with apparently didn't tell you that you needed sauce with the fresh lumpia.
I have missed your videos TJ as I have been off youtube for about 2 months, so glad you uploaded. Please be safe while travelling with the virus that is going around, praying we all stay safe. xx
Oh boy do we love the Makati Salcedo market. There's an Israeli version of pizza that we always get but I don't remember the name of it. Fun vids for sure.
Love the channel. New viewer. Great reviewer on amazing foods. I'm not normally adventurous on new foods; but I'd love to try just about everything you reviews. Your very sweet with a great personality. Can't wait to watch more.
Been a silent watcher/subscriber, but I just HAD to comment. You're so cute TJ when you say the local words here! 😍 I Couldn't resist! I also HAD to add and save this video to my favorites list! -MJ
I am so glad you had the Ilocos empanada. It should have been freshly cooked so it's crispy. Ask for one fresh next time. I remember having these after evening mass, when the food stalls set up on the outside walls of the church. Fillings vary but my fave was ilocano longanisa, strips of green papaya, mung beans, & egg. Of course dousing it in chili vinegar is a must. Oh & the tahong, I loved it. My mom didn't lol. It's the texture😆 It was usually sold by a street vendor early in the morning. I would be really excited whenever we went to Quezon City from the province because they didn't sell it there. I'd be waiting by the front door with my bowl or mug for the vendor. You just took me waaay back into my childhood 👍👍👍
Looks like a place to go on my next visit to the Philippines. Can't decide which would be the best so have to try them all haha but that fish looked so awesome. But as usual TJ looks much better then all the food.
