Beeing Corona grounded at home in Germany, you save my day George. THX to you and my other youtubers for keeping us entertained while we cannot go to work. Stay save everyone, wherever you are!
MotoMan, looks like you had fun pounding around that track! I can never understand why people are willing to tolerate so many compromises for the sake of a higher seating position.
I like the X4 M a lot, but 86k is X6 M50i money and I'm an X6 kinda guy . . . ;) The color, wheels and the shadow line work together perfectly. It just needs a Carmel interior. As always, excellent work, M. Hope your recovery is going well.
Motoman, I think I had an epiphany when I was at a local auto show a month ago, and sitting along side all the new models was an old Buick from the late 30's. It was tall, it was long, it had big headlights and a big grille, and a big trunk. It dawned on me that this was the same basic description of the modern "Crossover". So these modern high-power "baby buggies" are really nothing but the great grandchildren of their moonshine-running fore-bearers.
Very good point, Roy . . . A similar concept hit me when I was at the GM Heritage Center filming Inside the MotoMan Studio with Brian Smith (Cadillac) ruclips.net/video/WzyYXpX6i3w/видео.html . . . For me, it was even more evident looking at the gargantuan 'station wagons' from the 70s . . . they have a new in the wrapper mid 70s Electra Wagon (clamshell tailgate). Me, I would rock that over an SUV any day:)
When I decided it was just a waste to keep storing my C63S Coupé in the garage for 5 months of Canadian winter, these monster baby buggies became the answer for year round entertainment. I ended up with the F-Pace SVR over the GLC63 but the X3M was a close competitor. Just couldn’t give up the chance to enjoy a non-turbo-muffled V8 while it’s still on sale :)
The Truth Yep, GLC is fastest in its class for sure. It also seemed to handle even better than my C63 when I test drove it. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio seems to be on top for handling though in every review. My Jag sounds the best though 😉
A couple more weeks of guest hosts as I recover . . . then will be back. Who knows, you may see another episode with me behind the wheel that was shot prior to the accident:)
Is not necessary but it just for me for example that i can only get one car that has to be fast so sporty and has the particular extra space and use like daily but i dont do so much use or been all time on the streets or to much distance and to have space to weekend travels
Sure I respect engineering to get something like this as it is, but still. Why? Imagine it being lower, lighter, shorter. U know. Like a sports car. Sigh
@@stefanfreestylez Its an X3m not m3, why are you comparing the 2? they look similar to you? This is targeting at older/family who wants a bit of fun, but not on the track. Even then, how many M3 drivers actually push their car to the limit and how many gets on the track? so i guess buying a m3 is pointless crap? LOL
George, it's an m packaged BMW that will drop precipitously in value in years 1-3. Of course it's not worth it's sticker. The bigger problem will be for the poor sap that buys this used and has to fix all of the complexity and improperly tested technology in this after the 1 year CPO warranty expires.
If it's not the legendary motoman, then who else is worthy of making reviews!

It was “a hell of a lot of fun“ to see you behind the wheel again!

@2:39 maybe I’m wrong, but there seems to be a bolt missing on the drivers side latitudinal stiffener for the differential and subframe 🤔

Glad to have you back!
Good to be back! You're still going to see guest hosts for a few more weeks as I continue to recover.

That's one pricey station-wagon.
Great review! I agree though, I can’t justify 90K on a baby buggy. Even one you can take to the track.
Can't defy physics! These amazing high performance SUVs are a marvel but boy do you feel the weight! I used to have the GLE 63 coupe
We are waiting for your return!! “Santa Maria Madre De Dios!!!” 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤜🏻🤜🏻🤜🏻🤜🏻

I'll be seeing mine in about 1 year from now. Great review. No one needs it but I want it. Ha.
اهلا وسهلا بعودتك ياموتو مااااااااااان
MotoMan go go 😍🌎🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽
It’s not a crossover. It’s a Sports Activity Vehicle.
You’re not crazy. I don’t get this car. Miss you dude. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Miss you guys! Back soon . . .
I honestly thought you were back
Why do you need more weight in the steering? Which turn would it help you take faster? Which straight would give you more mph with weighted steering?
Hey, it`s online for 20 minutes, where is everyone?

"It's fast but is it necessary?"
What kind of stIUpid question is this?!
Petrol head? Check√
Having lots of money? Check√
Necessary Check√
How boring would that be if we are all driving around in the same car. Becuase nothing is necessary.
Agreed. See mine soon.
This car really has nothing on an m3...pointless crap imo this thing.

Nice video but seems out of touch right now 😬
