- Come with us as we go to the greatest place on earth and celebrate Fins 18th Birthday!
There is so much more to this amazing festival than what you see on TV and we just about manage to scratch the surface of it.

18.33 , no mention of the "Gurn station" , another 4 tickets wasted on bucket listers
I'm fascinated with this adventure. I'd love to take my three adult daughters on a journey like this. Tunes in the Dunes is going to be enjoyed by us next year but it's small fry when compared to Glasto. You've inspired me to aim at Glastonbury 2026 with my brood. In '26, my youngest will be two years older than I was when I first went in '97. It's difficult to relate how I old I felt like then to how old I perceive them to be now. Family times like these are extremely valuable and I'm envious that you've had the opportunity and have had such a great time together.
@@TheValueOfN thank you so much, I feel very fortunate that my lads still enjoy being with us. Fingers crossed we might see you in those fields of Glastonbury next year or perhaps 2027, as 2026 will be a fallow year, allowing the fields to rest.
41:54 Seasick Steve is definitely worthy of everyone's attention.
@@TheValueOfNdefinitely! Such a cool guy!
Goddamnit! I had set aside this evening for making music but I've been so easily and pleasantly distracted by my fellows' good times that I'm going to make music much later and that is a good thing because it'll be influenced by memories of Glasto that I had forgotten about until this documentary triggered them. I acknowledge that I'm rambling but I sincerely thank you for inspiring future adventures at Glasto with my daughters and providing me with the emotions to create some suitable music, (in a strictly hobbyist manner).
53:53 Happy birthday Fin.
Couldn't imagine a better 18th! Definitely agree with Fontaines, first thing i did when i got home was watch it again on iplayer
@@smithayyyjames absolutely, he last went when he was 12 and this was his wish since then! He’s also slowly converting the whole family to becoming fontaines fans! Hope you had the best time too, thank you so much for commenting.
Where was the rope bridge at 16:46??
That was in the woods next to Woodsies, it was all lit up at night and very pretty.
@@helenbraid9231 ah man never made it to Woodsies this year, looks sick!
@@adamthompson1308 remember to go next time. I’ve been to Glastonbury twice now, and still feel like I haven’t seen even half of it!
why do folk bring half their house? glasto is pathetic now. bum raided by corporate radio one ! Now its all plastic. there are sooooooo many smaller far better , welll managed, maintained festivals than this massive litter pit. Chart top 40 promotion tool this has become , complete with your very own health and safety conscious surroundings.
@@amwartwork why not? different people like different things, and if you are able to carry it in and take it home
with you, then it’s no problem
And it’s ok to like other festivals, no one forces you to buy a ticket for Glastonbury or watch it. Enjoy what makes you happy. 😊
