That entire album is so good. I just listened to the whole thing for the first time in years yesterday and I remember every word. You really get to hear a completely different sound out of him but still has his iconic screams.
I remember being so excited for "Out of Ashes" to release. I was very interested to hear what Chester sounded like outside of LP. Loved the album as a whole, my favorite song on the album probably has to be "Into You".
There is one performance of this song that is even better and really shows Chester's vocal abilities best with this song. The performance is Dead By Sunrise Let Down 2005 (pre-Dead By Sunrise) acoustic. It is just Chester, Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh performing to help raise money for Hurricane Katrina relief. My 3 other favorite songs from Dead by Sunrise are Walking in Circles Crawl Back In (has a music video) Condemned (darker side of Chester's vocal range) no music video but there are several good live performances
That’s a bold statement! But I agree with you, it’s a very standard rock song that’s great to listen to while you’re doing something else, but it’s not extraordinary. I miss that guy. And he did really love doing this.
The album is a MUCH different vibe, but I do agree. If it wasn’t Chester, no one would care. There’s good tracks, and I like the album because of him. “Too Late” is a great tune, but again, if anyone else was singing, it would t be the same.
With all the love and respect to Chester, his only accomplishment was achieved with Linkin Park. Not the “Grey Daze” ,not the “Dead by Sunrise”, not his side projects were any successful. So it’s fair to say that Linkin Park owes him as much as he owes Linkin Park.
@@theunexpectedua Because people always try to act like Linkin Park was only big because of Chester's voice even though Chester had other projects and people didn't pay as much attention to them. Sure, Chester was a big part of LP and a big part of how their sound was shaped vocally but LP as a whole package was what made it as huge as it is today.
This album was something special and one of my favorite works from Chester.
Between Dead by Sunrise, Grey Daze and Stone Temple Pilots, there's a lot of Chester back catalog for anyone who hasn't listened to anything but LP.
This is actually the type of music Chester wanted to do. Which is still good music, but again it shows how much LP is Linkin Park.
I am always so glad when you return to Chester..he deserves it. He deserves this. not saying more.

Thank you for reacting to this for me. It’s so cool you turned it into a video 😍❤
We ❤ you Chester, forever and ever!💕
😢 Chester legend...

Does it really matter? I just don't get the reason behind your comment. I mean..why state the obvious?

You always measure art by response of success? Okay, you do you. Van Gogh died as a poor and unknown man btw.
Yeah, rest of the album is a lot more interesting! This track works better on the album though. And love their only album!
Hey Josh, you have to check the Dead By Sunrise concert at KROQ- Almost acoustic Xmas, simply stunning
COMDEMED DO CONDEMED
Amazing song in my opinion
You hit the nail on the head in this commentary on this song.
