Three weeks ago we were all panicking about the defense (rightly so). And now we've had two weeks of keeping teams from scoring (10.5 per game). Three weeks of hot offense cold defense, then two weeks of cold offense and hot defense. I'm not worried about the offense, per se. I'm worried about consistency. Cincy needs to play a complete game.
Honestly Charlie Jones was the bread and butter for that whole game, if it wasn't for him scoring we'd probably end up in OT and somehow losing, we wouldn't of had the big momentum shift without it. He came clutch when needed to
Not a hard target there yet and so far due to lack of a known connection between the Qb and the ends. A week spot in our game although we have some of the best tight ends out there. Tight ends are crucial in your 10 yard marches. Also Zach Moss isn't going To butcher anyone out of the backfield on a pass like some players we have had.( Bengals Fan for life.) Maybe we will start to gel we are 7 games in.
Is nobody talking about potential brother vs brother on Sunday. Chase Brown potentially seeing his bro Sydney brown in the backfield as safety. He just returned from injury and ready to go this week
I’ll take ugly wins this team struggles in those type of games but not the last 2 weeks the offense will be fine defense has looked sharp but a lot can be improved on
Exactly, we won on the road in some high pressure situations. Doesn't matter who the opponent is, it's the NFL and anyone can win. Especially the Browns since they used to always have our number
I don't have any confidence in Coach Taylor. The offensive schemes in my mind handicap Joe Burrow and the offense. I'd like to see more scheming that incorporates tight ends. Tight ends are nearly invisible in Cincy. That's obviously just a singular point that I'm expressing. Overall I'll reiterate that the Bengals lack superior leadership. And that starts with Zac Taylor as exhibit A.
If Cleveland dbl tee and chase we lose.... i love we had a special teams play made in rhe kr game.. but the kicking game lacks consistency ans has cost us games. I do agree theres no separation wirh the 3rd wrs and down...we have athletes in yoshi and sizzle but no separation and ability to make contested catches... but burton give you that ability.. i think they nees to get pass the coach speak and let burton make plays down field even if in year 1 thata all he downs..itll make teams respect our offense even more.
