I know you're a fan of Dark World, seen all 3 of your videos, actually watched them to make sure I was playing it correctly (I was, it just felt like we were missing something) I'm not a fan of this game and I was editing this thinking "I wonder what Matt will make of it?" :D hope all is well my friend
Speaking of “Dark” titled games with elaborate cool setups ; I love for you to cover Dark Tower but I know the original and Restoration remake is incredibly expensive
Oh I used to own this game a while back but me and my friends would make each character have a special ability and each weapon a feat to it, and we would make cardboard exspantions to it.
We well me made a list of rules of each weapon and gave them new ability’s and we made a mountain out of card bard and glue and added this to the game and also a lot of though I sadly don’t really remember

I m a vintage board game collector (1989-1994 games years when i was child) everybody tells me the same for this game is impressive but no good game however i bought it for 60 euro complete i try to play and to change some rules but at least i m thinking to use the figures for hero quest!

I'm never gonna say never, but it's not a priority to be honest. I sold my copy of DarkWorld because next to Heroquest it just wasn't getting played and if I'm not playing it, I'd rather it be in the hands of someone who is. The Village Of Fear and the Dragon Gate expansions look really something but they're pretty expensive and hard to find complete these days, seen a few partially complete ones but to get a full set, it's buying multiple copies which, I'll be honest, just isn't something I relish doing :D
Matt Wilkins on his channel has reviewed the expansions, from talking to him he says they play exactly the same way. They're all part of one big story though, i believe Dark World is the final chapter of it. Well worth checking out his reviews on them though
why you say the haunter to be useless? It can be used anytime by the Korvak with the D10 dice. Of course the possibility to hit the players is limited but one time i managed to screw both the Dwarf and the Barbarian in a single hit.
Oh I only said the figure is pointless seeing as the move it performs is a god move. You could roll a D10 and just clear the struck heroes off the board and never use the figure. Cool avatar btw!

We play Dark World with just a few simple house rules and enjoy it immensely.

It probably could, the components are really quite cool, but yeah, it'd take a more creative mind than mine to come up with a good game for them ;)
