I wasted a lot of XP potions in season one by changing my mind 3 times on what heroes I would need for my goblin team. Rally and Poison teams were not working and I ended up with an Ice team. I went tankless and had Usha as my 'tank' up front to gather people. If my gear and level were on the low end I used the Traveler and Voresh as healers. As I geared up I replaced my 'healers' with more AOE frost members. My final team was 5 Frost heroes.
I tried using Usha, she suffer from the same problem as Frurbath, she falls behind because of the animation of her battle skill constantly so mobs are all over the place :S. You are completely right that control of mob positioning is very important to gain seconds in each wave. I used Letalis for Attack Aura!
Is it better to use somebody else instead for the main hero ? For example, Irina that also places a 3x3 debuff with her ultimate. Basically, is there any reason to use the main hero anywhere in the game in S2 ? And I'm not speaking for advanced accounts... I have Garius to gather the goblins and with Iola, Irina and Dane, Sigrid always shoots all the targets.
Dane is an amazing aoe dps if you need a budget one, and Zarlot does a lot of damage too. Besides, the point of the video is to use a tank that doesn't waste you time, so it's not about the best dps or better option as dps 😅 The fun part is that I'm on S3 and my sub 50sec Goblin 3-3 is still using Dane and Zarloth with perkunte and Iola, no 5 man affinity and still does the job 👀
@@VanHornGaming Lola with 1 other unit could probably do that... Did the other units do anything :) something I ask myself often in this game. If I just "didn't bring this unit at all" would it change anything. Often the answer is "no". Dane is only good for trials with big incoming damage and arena, but not goblin. Try hegio and kailes and wellby and watch what happens. Sigrid is kinda annoying to use in goblin tbh. I struggle to want to level up units just for goblin farming though...

He is a DPS so can be used unscrolled, but of course he will not be at his best

Yes, the story is partially different and we go through the adventure again.

Chats about tank when running two non damage units.. why dane and ghul? Switch them and all your runs will do better...
