I need to switch of power supply before connecting to the phone..I never got this problem with any other charger... Some other users also shared this problem.. Finally I ended up discarding this charger...
It is true that this charger can charge both laptop and phone at the same time and for charging phone we have no issue but that is not case with charging laptop and charging may be via thunderbolt or type c port and charging and using a laptop via type c port is not recommended because type c charging is not the same as charging the laptop via the normal port because while charging a laptop via normal port it is usually safe as the power supply to battery would be cut off when laptop battery reaches 100 percent and in case of type c charging that is not case and laptop battery will degrage over time

100w each is max. but total power is rated only for 100w, so each socket when used simultaneously gets max 65w and 30w

Just because the brick is 100W doesn't mean all your devices will charge at 100W they will only charge at what they're rated for.
