Of all the participants in the professional conference I am attending, I am the only who doesn't drink beer or alcohol, even ladies were enjoying it in generous measure. Something that is not too common in Nigeria. I was even mocked when we had dinner two nights ago at Wivenhoe House, University of Essex. But one has got to make up one's mind to do what is right and one is convinced of. Look, my dear sister, we are not pleasing man. Kumuyi is in this world today. He may not be in this world tomorrow. Wearing the "right" clothes has no effect on the sinful nature. If you are wearing trousers to attract women sexually that is wrong. If you are wearing them to cover your nakedness and keep warm what's the problem? Remember that in the Old Testament times men wore robes and not trousers. External legalistic holiness always tends to these foolish human laws and regulations. True holiness is not attained by external regulations but by a heart cleansed through faith, the blood of Jesus and a definite work of the Holy Spirit. Let's not bring the great truth of entire sanctification down to foolishness.
