How can he say supports are the most broken when he did a 5 sup VS 5 DPS and a 5 Sups VS 5 TANKS and the supports lost both times.

It's clear tanks are the most broken in the game. Diva can dive you and you die in seconds. You get pulled by hog and it's over. I'm not sure why overwatch makes the tanks damage so high
@@tameone not too mention that tanks also have the best ultimates in the game, their ults have so much team fight winning potential, tank is undoubtedly the most broken role hence why only one of em should be allowed per team
the reason tanks sturggle is because of support cooldowns yes but mainly because of the amount of things they have ti do and the little value they get from it. not to mention that they are the focus for cc and as little as one bio nade will completely shut them down. 5 supports vs 5 tanks means nothing because it isnt a competitive environment and tanks have the OBVIOUS advantage with all their cc and health pools but in a competitive enviroment with even teams, support dominates (im a support main btw)

Communication is overrated, the most communication I’ve seen is in the lowest ranks or the highest ranks. If you’re half decent at the game, you can climb.

my friends and I did this intentionally. We were on no limits, and we playing as 5 tank, but the we ran against 5 supports and they beat the shit out of us. They beat us so bad that we copied their strategy and started playing supports we ended up winning in the end though
hey jay, you should try like gm tank mains vs gm dps mains but both teams are playing support and mix it up with other roles, i.e 5 supp vs 5 dps everyone playing tank
I thought abt this but the problem u run into is u have all sorts of different levels on those like one might be a bronze tank and another a masters
@@AustinBurt-hw4dc Nah, someone made a whole Excel spreadsheet and the results came out that the amount of Top 500 players who could achieve T500 on all roles and which role they mained. The results were around this:
DPS players: 200
Tank players: 50
Support players: 12
It kind of just showed that DPS just have skills that can translate to other roles, it also proved the difficulty of the roles DPS>Tank>>>Support. An example is someone like Dafran who mains DPS but still outskills most T500 support players. Rare cases are like GaleAdelaide who mains support but still has the aim to also play DPS in T500.
Also support GM atm is almost the same as putting diamonds, plats, golds and silvers all in the same game. The skill disparage among them is so wide and its another symptom of power creeping supports.
You have to look at the amount of Mit they did as well. In the last game alone Sigma got 10k!! That's whilst remembering that there are other tanks soaking up the Mit too!!!

makes sense since tanks were made stronger since there's only 1 in a regular game with 5 of them ur practically playing against 10 dps with more health and a bigger hitbox
They have way less damage then supports. The supports had more damage last game

I feel like no matter what the support team says on coms, the chat's like "watch them complain about health diff" " watch them say they got double shields", bruhh damn if you do damn if you dont. Of course the supps can get demotivated and salty, but they were relatively good sports about it, they riff here and there but no actually fangs were drawn
Same in WoW mythic+. Healers get shit on. I remember this one dps screamed at the healer for not interrupting more. The healer was a priest, which obviously has no interrupts to use to begin with. As long as there are healers, there will be mouth-breathing damage players to stand in fire and blame someone else for it.
When they nerf supports and tanks roll, DPS players will still bitch until they're busted. Then supps and tanks will bitch DPS is broken. This cycle is just going to keep going lmao
So true, everyone is always complaining. As much as people talk about support now, the first few seasons were broken zarya and hog and sojourn, then ramattra, etc. 😂

16:05 I disagree with 400 Pulse DMG. It makes missed pulses much more forgiving since the splash still kills in most cases! Not good!
The intention of pulse bomb is a safe kill pick so it ruins the purpose of Blizzard buffed the DMG! Too much splash kills with pulse bomb is bad since the Ult would completely change it‘s identity
I would like to see this again with the support changes under the new patch
So I watched the video and it's kinda crazy how tanks can do when they have another tank to help relieve the pressure and eat the other sleeps and antis. Also it would fix the tank counter swapping problem
I do think 5 supports are powerful but against tanks that have a lot more health ehhhh. Not so much

They needed a lucio tbh. Zen is too imobile so Ana sleep and nade became their win condition, especially for killing dive tanks (+ dax was craazy good on ana), but ana is also pretty imobile. Having lucio would've given respectable damage, with the benefit of removing one imobile target that the tanks focused down AND helping Ana be more mobile too, as well as keeping a strong counter to the tank ults. Instead of Tranq, beat lasts a little shorter but is slightly more versitile.

I feel like everyone forgets that the name is support not healer sure they provide healing but that’s just one thing they provide Lucio for example is great at peeling while zen can provide increased damage to specific enemies but both have low healing output

@@pandaboss5085 I expected a bit more Lucio / LW for peel and offangles so that they could focus on keeping up their actual damage dealers like Illari, Bap and Ana since they had a hard time standing their ground / escaping when the tanks stepped up and just decided to walk over them, it would've probably made taking / retaining points easier (Brig could have also maybe worked instead of LW)

Why has bap not been nerfed yet lmao, bro is legit just a dps with a movement and healing passive, and a guaranteed 1v1 win ability
Hes been nerfed twice in the last two patches, his damage isn’t really unfair but I think his total ammo should be reduced for his primary fire and healing. Otherwise I think hes balanced for having the longest total cooldown time and having a decent amount of skill required as well as having the largest support hitbox.
I think this is a good example of why tanks really want 6v6 back because you feel so much more free and powerful when you're not the main focus 24/7
The aim and the skills usage from the support players is truly worth being in top 500💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

While it's not really fair to equate a tank hero equal to two non-tank heroes, there is some truth to the role being effectively significantly more than a single non-tank hero. The fact that the supports did so well is testament to how strong they are, even though they lost. I'm interested in seeing what that value ratio is. 2T v 3S. Is that balanced? 3v4? 4v5? 1 v 2 isn't dynamic enough. 3v5 looks like an easy support win.
Support could have won if they played better, especially on the push map, you could see that when they weren't getting destroyed by the hog and weren't staggering they were doing a lot. If kiri didn't stagger a fight they might have won
5 top 500 tanks vs 5 top supports. But there's a catch, they all switch roles... 👀👀👀👀

The ow community opinion on balance intensifies as content creators echo the same opinion over and over and everyone adopts it. Again, support still needs nerfs but theres little discretion at that point (Support is OP overall vs Illari Bap wifeleaver and Kiri need nerfs not lucio moira mercy zen etc)

Its Junker Queen (as in Queen of the Junkertown a region in Australia), and the lighting is a result of a legendary skin in one of the earlier seasons. (2, or 3 I think?)

The people saying tanks are broken because of this need to understand that would be true *if there were 2 tanks on a team* but if you were to properly balance these fights to the actual game, it would be double the amount of supports to tank ratio, making it a 5v10. Then watch how fast tanks lose. Or if you really wanted to balance the 5v5, you would double the sup health and half their CDs. There's a reason there is only 1 tank now per team. They have ways of negating damage and have health for sustain (hence tank) but need damage to take/negate space. In normal OW, they aren't broken at all. You're not supposed to *win* a 1v1 against a tank majority of the time. It's what lets them do their job. If every hero could win that matchup, tanks would quite literally be useless

since you believe supports should be called healers. how about this? team 1: (1 tank, 2 dps, and 2 supports) team 2 with jay as dps: (1 tank 2 dps and 2 healers who are only allowed to heal, no dps, no damage boost, no speed boost and no discord orb ans no anti nade.) if your team loses you stop calling supports "healers". basically everything that is considered "supporting" except healing is not allowed for jays team.
The other team shouldn't be allowed to heal then since they're "supports" and not healers. They're only allowed to deal damage and use support abilities, except for anything that heals.

It's just that everytime some toxic DPS player always keep blaming supports when they're out of position and dies or if support is currently fighting against a flanking enemy. During that fight the supports obviously can't focus healing their team. Every time the DPS blames the supports. I get it. It's frustrating when some tik tok Moira is on your team and doesn't know what healing orb is or does nothing other than sucking the lives out of the enemies. And I'm not a support main or a DPS main I enjoy playing both roles. But there are situations in which the life of the supports is more important than the life of the DPS purely because they can keep the team alive. That's why I suggested playing with these rules because I want to prove the point why it's called support. I'm sure there are DPS players that support the statement that supports should be healbots and they maybe also think that Jay is serious about it. It would be actually a funny challenge. Btw im sorry for mistakes that may be in my comments because English is my 3rd language

You know what would make for a good experiment? 5v5 game but the roles are limited to 1 tank 1 support, 3 dps. Then give the support 2x healing output and 25% reduction on cooldown timers.
That would be funny but some characters would be op. Think about a group, stacked together, with 2x Moira healing. Would make for good content though!
@@JadenCoookVods Yeah, but by stacking up like that you make for an easy target from a team wiping AOE ult tho. It'd be really interesting to see people fall in to get healed and then disperse cause incoming aoe. It'd be very reminiscent of old wow style raid mechanics

all these DPS players complaining that support is the most broken role, dont yall realise that out of the three roles DPS is the easiest compared to the other two? It's obvious that the roles with the more responsibilities have to have a better kit than the roles with lesser responsibilities... If supports were just healers most people wont play supports, DPS is the most basic monotonous role out of the three.

Supports are broken. This proves the argument everyone has been making about 6v6. It also why the dps got absolutely slaughtered. Tanks have shields, matrix, suck and other things. It doesn’t make tanks good unless you pair all of that together. I’m willing to bet if they had made it 1 tank/4 dps = 5 supports the supports would stomp. Tanks are designed to be played together since they were created for two tanks. You put all tank synergies together with high HP pools of course the tanks stomp. Supports being OP and 5 tanks winning can happen. The supports out damaged the tanks. Also to be fully honest I would put all the money I have that says 4 supports with 1 tank steam roll 5 tanks.
Tbf tho, going after someone individually might hv been the right play since they did it at the same time. It creates chaos and 1v1 scenarios to nullify the support sustain capabilities
And many of the supports looked like they couldn’t keep up with the chaos and made highly questionable plays when under pressure

open q settings doesn't remove tank passive. It only reduces hp.

One big issue I see here is that console support player who was on bap. I feel like with tank it doesnt matter as much if you have console players since u can afk spam behind shields but so many supports are more aim intensive and controller just couldnt keep up.

I hope your Mercy never revives or damage boosts you, your Zen never discords, your Bap never uses lamp or window, your Ana never antis/sleeps the enemy or nanos you, your Lucio never uses speed boost or beat, your Kiri never uses suzu or ult, your Weaver never life grips or pedals you, and I hope especially that none of them, not a single one, deals even a hitpoint of damage let alone get a kill. 🖕

5 dps 5 tank that would be fun soldier could heal
Mercy and Ana as healers , Bap and Zen for dps and a Brig to counter dive would beat any tank comp . Supp players choked and stopped thinking , Dax and Authien were doing fine but thats it.
I'm pretty sure that supps can win the tanks even with normal no open queue stats. Potential of the supps is incomparable. You just have to gather ml7 level guys on every sup and it will be easy for them
