I am experiencing the same thing, I run a game, it crashes under ram OC, but the test shows it's all fine. Then I undervolt my ram, games go crazy with artifacts and the test still shows no error. Don't know what the hell is going on, Funny thing is people recommend this as the best application for OC stability test. EDIT:- I managed to get to get 3 errors and a BSOD after approximately 40min of stress testing. This app does work, but the first error, occurred 10-15min whereas game would show crash message after only 5min. Clearly this is not the fastest tool out there, unlike the developer promised. But it gets the job done, I'm keepin' it.
If you find OCCT useful and love it as much as me, PLEASE buy a registration key to support the hard working developer. Thanks TechRacoon, this is a very good introduction to the software.
I love OCCT. I only have one question. Is it possible to change the temperature measurement from Celsius to Fahrenheit? Any advice is much appreciated.
This app tells me nothing useful. My pc gets crashes recently, but temps and performance are good in tests. Sometimes, OCCT crashes during test, i suspect bcuz of conflict with another program, or maybe a component failed during test - but it doesnt tell me. So the tests give me 0 info
The point of such tests is to find out if your system will hold up under continuous load for a long time... no more, no less... for the normal user this is often not relevant because here rarely such loads occur over a long time...
@@TechRacoon I'm confused, as it uses the HWiNFO engine, does it need a license from that as well? I'm (mostly) looking to throw the monitor graphs on a 2.5" x 8.6 monitor usb/hdmi monitor. I do (very) casually OC, so that ability is cool and all. Mostly, I just want to know usage and temps. eg, How many cores are in use? If I change this setting, will my GPU usage drop?
Got recommended this video after the recent Linus Tech Tips drama over using the free version of OCCT. Nice brief overview video!
cpu large data completed 2 hours 1 week ago and now cant run medium or large it instantly crashes but runs small and power supply fine.
Any idea why?
ran gpu stability test for 20 min wth no errors, as soon as i launched game it all crashed... not too reliable
same.

How do I set this to just run at 50% cpu so I can check my cooler operation?
I'll give it a try on my new system! Thank you very much!

This programm isn't suited for showing which problems you have, but it shows you if you have any single small problem.

Could you be drawing more wattage than the PSU you have supports?
