My gdemu list is wrong 3 rows If you know what I mean? The name and the Cd image is not the same. It starts okey in the list, after 40 games the list is wrong 1 row, and in the bottom of my list the game is wrong 3 rows. I deleted some of my homebrews, but they still count on the Gdemu. On my sd card and sd card maker they are gone?!?
I know exactly what you mean! I was messing with my SD card a few weeks back and it went all wonky. If you look at the files on your PC, the software actually renames all the files which makes it a nightmare to go into and fix manually. Did you delete the files using the SD card maker software or did you do it manually? I ended up just rebuilding my card from scratch, which wasn't much fun, but it fixed all my issues.
@@HalfCircleForward I fixad my issues with customize my list. I have left the menu box empty for some reason. they do have newer 3D printed parts that allow everything to sit flush and fill in the hole where the CD drive used to be it relocates SD card and a big giant button for the reset
I’ve saw those before I did the video, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the design if I’m honest. I think it was the way the ones I saw used a Dreamcast logo for the button.. not sure what it was that bothered me about it, but it just didn’t sit well with me. I do hear that they fit the system nicely though!
I ordered one of the cheap clone cards for $40. I have a good condition sports edition dreamcast which I wouldn't want to touch. Did however pick up a cheap $10 dreamcast the other day from the flea market. It works but it sounds like the gears are about wore out on the GD-Rom. So I figure that is a perfect candidate for one of these.
That’s exactly what I would do with it! The beauty of this is that you can uninstall it just as easily, so even if you wanted to use it in your sports edition, it’s totally reversible, and easy to do too! Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate the support! Have fun!

Nice video, Just subbed the channel :) Did you ever considered getting the PicoDreamcast or PicoPSU? So, instead of modding the PSU replacing it wit a low power alternative? I'm still not sure which route I'm going with.. I'll probably replace the battery with a battery holder on the controller board too.
Thanks, I appreciate the support! I’d looked into the PicoPSU, but I wasn’t a fan of the connection on the back making it look less stock, so I did the PSU mod instead. I’m definitely going to do the battery holder mod at some point though!
quick question.. so if I pick up a GDEMU clone and a DreamPSU, and just replace the PSU, is that really all i need to do? no sauntering needed? Ive never really done any sauntering
I’ll be honest, I haven’t messed with the DreamPSU yet, but from that I’m seeing it’s plug and play, so yes, you’d be able to just plug everything in and you’ll be good to go! Thanks for stopping by the channel, I appreciate it!
I imported some games to my sd card using the format of numbered files and changing the gdi files into disc.gdi but some games only show up as not supported/empty files. Do you know how to overcome this problem? I am using Kingston micro sd card 256gb
Are you importing the files directly or are you using the SD card builder? I got a bunch of headaches when I tried to edit my SD card outside the builder software and ended up having to do a complete reformat and rebuild. If you're doing it manually, I'd probably recommend trying the SD card builder for it. Does that help at all?
Why are there 2 holes on the right side of the GDEMU Board(the side where the MODEM an Fan are) when you can't put a screw in there because there is nothing on the Dreamcast to put screws there.
That’s a great question, and something I’ve never thought of! The only thing I can think of is a mounting setup for the Naomi.. I’ll have to dig mine out and take a look.. I’m curious now!
