- Thanks for Coming By! We are so excited for Baby Stump to be on the way. For this gender reveal we wanted to include our family members who lived out of state and that's how we came up with this idea :)

I’ve watched a few people reveal this way and it’s crazy to me how it usually comes down to the last few or the last balloon. That it’s never all or most of one color popped first. So suspenseful. I love it.

This is such a cute idea! Could you tell me how you numbered the people & how the game goes? Did those people choose the colors? I’m a little confused tbh. Lol TIA!
Hey there! So since we were in the middle of the pandemic, we had our family members pick a number 1-16 over text. Once they chose we put there name on a piece of paper with the number on it. We had our mother in law take the call that explained the gender, then she put the balloons up. 5 of the gender, 4 of not the gender(pink), and the remaining were black (meaning nothing). We had granny shuffle the numbers in a bowl and then we would pop what ever number/name we chose! Just a fun way to include the family when all of them were unable to be thee in person! We had other family members pick numbers and associated their names to that number. Granny was going to pick the numbers out and hand them to me, but she at this time had Alzheimer’s so I had to make the executive decision to pick out the names of the bowl so she wasn’t confused and upset. Hey I’m curious please respond did you guys fill the balloons up a little bit with paint and diy the board or did you order that
Hey there!! We filled the balloons with paint using a makeshift funnel; then we used a little balloon pump to blow up the balloons. The board we got for 8$ from Home Depot. Then we just used darts that we had however you could also use a needle or a knife too. The close pins we got from the dollar store as well as the balloons and paint so it costed about $20 in total :) hope this helps!
And then we had our mother in law take the phone call that revealed the gender and she placed the balloons and placed the extra balloon with the genders color in it on the board. And that’s how we did it (:
Due to covid we had our family pick a number 1-16 and drew there names that way we could include them , even when they were in quarantine :)

Hey there, great question! So we went to Home Depot and got a piece of white plywood for 9.99$ and then super glued clothespins on to hold the balloons :)

What did y’all put in the balloons?! I’d love to do this!
It’s just crayons paint and cheap confetti from the dollar store :) we used crayolla washable paint so it comes off our clothes ! :) we put it in the balloons with a funnel and then blew up the balloons with a little hand pump

How did you blow the balloons up? We're wanting to do a reveal like this but not sure if we should use helium tank or by mouth? Lol
I used air, I had a little bike pump that we used to blow them up that way the glitter and paint didn’t get in our mouths 😂. We used a little funnel to put the paint and glitter in (put glitter first ) but make sure you do this right before the reveal so the paint doesn’t dry up !

PLEASE HELP!!! I NEED to know how far in advance the balloons can be filled with paint before drying out!?!?!
I know this was done a long time ago, but my daughter wants this for her reveal IN 5 DAYS!! Problem is I will only have about an hour of knowing the gender before the party to prepare the balloons! I want to do all but the last one ahead of time. But how far ahead can I do it without the paint drying and it being a complete fail? Do I only have hours or a day or 2??
PLEASE, ANYONE THAT CAN HELP I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL!!!!
