Decided to fly down to Gibraltar in the 777 - almost crashed into the sea by going off the end of the runway. It was EPIC.

On the subject of Dash 8's into Heathrow, Austrian flew their Star Alliance Dash 8's into Heathrow for a little bit over the recent years, was incredible to see them on approach, often followed by a 777 behind!

Or Saint Maartin to Saba (about 12min flight) you will land on the world shortest commercial runway. IT can only be done using a Twin Otter. I fly to Saba Island once a year from Boston MA for a scuba diving trip. It's always interesting landing on that runway.

flew into lowi in the pmdg 737 ngx at night from egkk visibility under 500ft heavy snow loosing hydraulic pressure on approach. Missed twice third time lucky

best flight ever? for me it's KMEM to KPIT. it was my first full atc flight and first successful hand landing with the pmdg 737. so I cherish it a lot.

What a flight! Does BAW really fly the triple here? If so, what eent wrong? You looked nice and stable -- bit too much float, perchance? Wrong landing config?
I do not believe they do, more for fun I imagine. It's a hard approach so he might've missed a few things, his speed seemed a little high for a short final considering he could've dropped it to at least 155 knots and would've been fine.

i think if you did a steep approach into the airfield it would work better. Great video btw.
He was trying to fly the actual approach as they do in real life.

If u touch down quicker then that's a doable approach I also think at the end a guy had a bird strike
