I feel like they should have a 2nd child because being an only child can be quite lonesome. Siblings argue with each other *a lot* but hey, in the end, it's all just outta love XD. My sister and I used to argue a ton, but now that we've grown older, it's pretty calm. It's nice knowing there's someone you can trust, go to for advice, hang out with etc who's close to your age. Sure there are friends, but it's not the same as family

You have to be understanding tho, Seungjae was told that he's rather very advanced for his age and Jiyong is still new to this and is probably used to how Seungjae perceive things. 😊
lysh xthl yeah, that's what i was thinking too. when he was talking to older children, he's being heard and followed, but kids his age just don't get why you don't put teddy bear on top of dinosaurs on top of tractor xD lil seungjae has learned to categorize animals and things..... his peers are children twice his age.

Jiyong, I love your honest and straightforward approach with kids. And, consequently, how you didn't become a liar during a game of hide-and-seek for the sake of a laugh. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. When adults lied to me / exaggerated what was actually going on / played stupid, it only distorted my view of how things actually worked, and made me distrust them later on when I realized the truth. Continue to be honest and real Jiyong-no matter what people say. Your kid will trust you as a reliable source of truth as he gets older, someone dependable who won't lie to him just for a momentary chuckle. I love your honesty. Go on being genuine. ( •ᴗ• ) ♡
poke089 Yeah, that's just you. Normal children dont experience that. Its actually beneficial, psychologically wise, for parents/adults to play along with children as it aids their imagination and divergent thinking skills as well as helping them bond. Theres a difference between an outwright lie and an exaggeration during a children's game. For example, freeze tag. Are you actually frozen? No, you're pretending. In hide and seek you pretend you dont see the child because it makes them feel accomplished (in their hiding skills) and allowd them to further enjoy the game rather than abruptly stopping the game and criticizing their abilities at the game
I wouldn't really fault Jiyong in his technical version of hide-and-seek. It's just his personality and it's not like *real* hide-and-seek isn't fun. The real fun is in the challenge and in the chase. It's easy for Dongguk to play the baby version because Sian _was_ a baby and he's a naturally playful and child-like father. When he plays later together with the twins, though, the kids hide for real because they're old enough to understand the challenge and they _can_ hide and run. Jiyong admitted before he was too shy to be openly sweet and he doesn't have the same playful and child-like personality that Dongguk has. He's more technical and realistic, and he doesn't interact with a lot of kids often (unlike Dongguk with 5 kids), so he didn't know he should be more indulgent with 3-year-olds (international age). It's probably hard for him to pretend they're invisible, too since it's not fun for him and he's not affectionate _that way._ He's affectionate in a different way; vocally (words) and in action through physical games, caresses and kisses.

actually when my brother was around seungjae's age he knew a lot of dinosaurs!! his favorite was spinosaurus, a dinosaur i hadnt ever heard of at the time lol he learned it through dinosaurs books that my parents bought for him. i think children may learn the dinosaurs name from the book like my brother! you know children can even learn 2 languages at once if we can educate them properly, memorizing dinosaurs name is prolly a piece of cake🙂
My poor baby Seungjae seems so lonely when his friends left T.T the kids are so cute and smart too, the smile at 6:31 gets me everytime 😭💕 hopefully they will meet and play again 🙏💓💓

Seungjae is very intelligent for his age! I'm so impressed he knows all the Dino names and speaks so well, he seems to be well ahead of his peers. He even understands important abstract concepts. I'm honestly very impressed

lol I noticed he did that a lot of times with seungjae. He reasoned with him instead of giving him 'bribes'. For example i think the episode where they shovel the snow together and he ran up the hill. Jiyong was like no. Seungjae still wants to do it and instead of saying lets go eat or lets play.. he said, you remember what happened last time when you fell down. Is it painful? do you want that to happen again? Seungjae immediately said no and follows him. I mean yes he's a gifted child but the way Jiyong treats him just propelled the situation even more lol.

I actually like how Jiyong does it. He talks to them like they are his equal. This lets kids learn quicker. It's a much better way of dealing with kids.

When I watched this, first thing came into my mind that how 2 or 3 years old kids think that they become invisible if other people can't see their eyes. Toddlers also thought adults can't be seen if their eyes are hidden - even if their bodies are visible. 😂😂😂

Ece Ciel Its actually because theyre still in a cognitive stage where their logic is based primarily on tangibility. They only really understand things they can experience with their senses rather than abstract ideas. So with that logic their minds dictate that if it isnt seen it isnt there( or at least not within immediate space) so if they cant see him he can't them.

He needs a sibling, honestly. Though it may be hard, Seungjae needs someone to play with when he's at such a young age but also an only child. He's loud, energetic. That's the reason why he needs another child with him all the time.

I also have only one child, and I could relate to Seunjae's being excited being around other kids. I used to bear waiting for us to leave his preSchool because he loves playing with his friends. Jiyong you are doing much more in looking after Seunjae and I am sure you have imprinted many many fond memories with your son. You both are an inspiration to us parents and we share your frustrations too.

Jiyong you’re so unique. I feel like Seungjae is talkative and social because he is normally alone especially since his parents both work and he has no siblings. He feels hurt when people leave even if he never admits it to his dad he obviously feels sad when his father goes to work. Seungjae does a lot to just have someone to be with him and not by himself.... but then again. I think most people know this.
The solution is just to give seungjae a sibling! that's all!

I can relate to Seunjae from experience. Like him, I'm also an only child and when I come to visit a friend's house, I never wanted to leave. I would ask my mom for a baby brother or sister, my wish didn't come true.
When you are the only child, you kind of get bored easily playing by yourself. Now I'm 19, still an only child but I'm happy that i get to look after the kids at the nursery at my church. If i did have a sibling, i wish i have a smart, adorable, funny little brother like Seunjae ^_^ or any of the kids in this show, I love all of them
