The 1st project would've been far cheaper,more durable and reliable had you went to lows or home depot and got 2x2 or 2x3 or 2x4 wood and had them cut it to the height you wanted. It'd last many more years and can be moved around as well. It's pretty from a distance (silver) but I wouldnt trust it to hold anything of weight or value, especially a TV if anyone drinks,have children or pets.
