Learn Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) in Sign Language (Part 1 of 4 in ASL tutorial - Verse 1 &2)

In today's video we learn how to sign the first and second verse of Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone) by Chris Tomlin. This is also the first 2 verses of the original hymn of amazing Grace so it'll serve two purposes.
Please note, this video teaches ASL signs, but not ASL grammar or syntax. Many people call ASL signs with English grammar Signed English, English Sign Exact, or PSE (Pseudo Signed English).

Amazing Grace/latest/best version/ with lyrics/original is one with all new lyrics and second one is just the regular Amazing Grace(Hymns with lyrics) from RUclips

I really like this song. I was hoping you would be teaching. What did He die for by Twila Paris in preparation for Veterans. Day my friend and I are trying to learn it on own own to do along with a video to honor veterans in our church family
We appreciate your videos so much we look forward each week to see what new song we can learn. We have signed for our church services 3 times now still a bit rough but people say it adds to the service

Hi Betty, these are ASL signs, but not ASL grammar. ASL changes the word order of sentences. ASL signs with English grammar is often called English Sign Exact, or signed English
