I have seen people lose hats, phones and glasses on rides. Iron Gwazi wanted to take Mark's shirt! Edit: I just noticed and what makes it even better is that he is wearing a Steel Vengeance Hoodie. It's basically telling you get that ish outta here and go buy some IG merch.
Wow, the whip during some of those airtime moments looks insane! A combination I've rarely if ever seen before. We are truly living in the 3rd golden age of roller coasters.
@@grumpypoof9648 It's not my nomenclature. The late 1910s and 20s after the invention of upstop wheels and designs by the likes of John A. Miller and Harry Traver are often called the first golden age; the revival of the 1970s and 80s saw folks like John C. Allen and Anton Schwartzkopf, as well as the rise of steel coasters pioneered by Arrow Dynamics and, and I am not the first to say that Alan Schilke in particular has heralded in a third golden age. But if you want to say there can only be one, I'd personally drop the first two. The materials and design tools available make so much more possible than ever before, and thrill tolerance of the public is higher as well, allowing innovative elements to be included that would've terrified a 1920s audience so badly that no one would ride.
@@jtwigg23 The Flip-Flap Railway at Coney Island. It operated from 1895-1902. It did hit 12g (although it was instantaneous, not sustained), because the loop was circular and very tight. We don't use circular loops for precisely that reason. There is no transition whatsoever, you went from 0 to 12 g's instantly. That thing caused neck and back injuries. Loop-the-Loop came next from 1901 to 1910. Its loop (or I should say, loops, as it had a twin track layout) was a precursor to modern loops in that it was not circular, so the g-forces did not occur _instantly_ at the bottom of the loop, but rather there was a transition into the loop. It was still not the familiar teardrop shape either though, and still hit something like 8g briefly. There were contemporary looping coasters at other amusement parks, and indeed the designer of that 12g montrosity made a later design that really did approach a modern teardrop shape (Loop-the-Loop at Olentangy Park in Columbus, OH, operated 1908 only), but these all suffered low ridership due to low thrill tolerance, excessive forces due to low loop heights (low height = tighter radius = more force), and low capacity due to single-car operation instead of modern trains. The idea was abandoned after that for around 65 years, except possibly in daredevil backyard contraptions, when Magic Mountain opened Great American Revolution.

Ryan's little moment of laughter that he couldn't hold in @ 1:50 , and Mark's enthusiasm the _whole_ ride despite having ridden multiple times before are what make these videos truly awesome 😎👍
Hey Ryan! I'm Andrew the employee you talked to waiting for back row. It was great meeting you and I'm glad you loved the ride! I've been so excited to share this great coaster with everyone
Looks absolutely nuts the pacing is insane! It’s awesome FINALLY seeing this thing open the elements are awesome and just non stop there’s definitely gonna be people calling this better than Steal Vengeance and putting it at the top of their list
Looks insane! I love the RMC restraints actually, since the lapbars don't go down during the ride. Just look at Mark how much room he has, he is FLYING. This ride is fire for sure!
WOW guys it looks pretty freaken DOPE,I'm heading to Florida for the first time ever to go to all these wonderful parks, just can't wait to ride these Bad Boy
I rode it 20 times on the 1st media day with ACE I was supposed to stay today but couldn't get out of work, so glad you got to ride this I can't wait to get your full opinion! I'm waiting until I get a night ride before I decide if I'm going to put it over Velocicoaster!
Ever since this was under construction I thought Busch was going for the best ride in the world and it seems they’ve pulled it off those mad lads can’t wait to get on it a bunch this Sunday!
This coaster was everything I expected and more and I got a night back row ride with my dad it was very busy yesterday and I only rode this, Montu and Cheetah Hunt
Honestly looks bloody fantastic, though nothing beats the reverse POV of you and Dan on New Texas Giant in 2019 😂 honestly looks like one of those old green screen backgrounds 😆
Mark was F L Y I N G lmao, ride looks insane, hopefully i can get to it soon, i have a feeling it could sneak onto my podium
Iron Gwazi for Olympic gold?
Mark
You can practically use Mark's shirt to measure the airtime lol
Mark looked like he was gonna fly all the way out of his seat at 1:15 lmao
That death roll looks absolutely insane
same with his shirt lol

I love how different reverse POV cams are because you can see the ride’s effect on the riders. It does justice that a regular POV can’t provide.

Can't there only be one golden age? Isn't that basically the point?

Man, look at that Steel Vengeance hoodie go! Iron Gwazi was really displaying some dominance!
So happy this is finally getting around to opening.
Iron Gwazi was trying to rip that hoodie off 🤣
Yeah its intense BRIEFLY!!! AN absolutely great ride but it's LITERALLY half the ride that Steel Vengeance is, sorry for the spoiler

I really wanted to call this ride Iron Gwa💤 but I can't even antagonize, it looks THAT good.
RIP Steel Vengeance
Mark almost lost his top. Would have been epic returning to the station full topless and being like "it was all RMC's fault". :D

This makes me feel SO lucky I only like like 20 minutes away from this awesome coaster and I can go and ride it whenever I want
The simple existence of Zadra and Iron Gwazi is enough to not go depressed. Ridden or not.
i find it funny how the ride was trying to fly marks steve hoodie off 😂😂
