- Florida Senator Marco Rubio is now one of the leading contenders to become Trump’s running mate for the 2024 presidential election, according to recent reporting by Bloomberg.
The 52-year-old, Miami-born senator has supported the former president in both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections and has been serving as a senator for Florida since 2010. However, the electoral college in the state of Florida could pose a problem for the potential Republican duo.
