@@caobu5320 Because I'm curious why someone would want to leave the same meaningless reply to many different comments. I assume I must be missing something since people don't normally do things for literally no reason.
Honestly I give Michael props for continuing to play with sleepy dead brain. The amount of simple puzzles I couldn’t understand and the amount of time I waste running around areas I didn’t need to go all because I was playing for too long and getting foggy is high for this game. Doing a NG+ on assisted right now (gathering funds/upgrading weapons for a Professional run) and I had to stop last night because I was wasting ammo and making dumb mistakes.
To anyone wondering about the charm gacha, whenever you start a new game it sets a reward list for the 4 different token combinations: 3 silvers, 2 silvers 1 gold, 1 silver 2 golds, and 3 golds. Each of those combinations has a set list of charm rewards you get, so for example if you turn in 3 silvers you will get the same charm every time you reload. Let’s say you turn in 3 sets of 3 golds and get a Leon, Ashley, and Ada as your charms. If you reload and turn in 3 sets of 3 golds again you will still get Leon, Ashley, and Ada in that order, BUT if you instead do 2 sets of 3 golds and then do a different combo like 2 silver 1 gold you’ll get Leon, Ashley, and then a new charm for the last set because it was pulling from the fixed 2 silver 1 gold charm list instead of the fixed 3 gold charm list To put it simply, it prerolls an infinite amount of gacha rolls for each of the 4 token combos whenever you press new game and there’s no way to manipulate the rolls into changing. The only save scumming you can do is gather as many tokens as you can get, go through each combo one by one and write down the results to fill out your lists to see what they look like. Once you see your lists you can reload and pick and choose from the different combos which results in the best rewards. Eventually though you’ll need to purposefully get bad charms to get further into the rewards list to get to your good rewards
But also you can really tell once he's been playing for 20 hours that his brain is melted. Dude started the stream playing at like a 9/10 and at 20 hours hits around a 3.5/10 😂
Oh his brain was in desperate need of a Red Bull drip by hour 16 lol, I can’t imagine someone in the chat didn’t shout out several times “WRONG WAY! You’re backtracking again!” lol
3:07:20 Since I don't think anyone else is giving answers for the sake of it, I'll shoot From what I pieced together, there was a special narrated CD with the VAs that talked about how Ada was working with Wesker throughout 2- fairly obviously. From there, it's piecing together that Wesker and his plans, after the original incident, became sort of common knowledge at least within the government/Secret Service/any fledgeling BSAA of the time. That, and intelligence possibly narrowing down an opposing agent of a 'woman in red' which Leon could've reasonably been briefed on and recognized, even before the RE4 meetings. Obviously it doesn't quite explain the sort of rivalry/flirtaciousness, but over the course of (IIRC) Darkside Chronicles, and the assumed training around it, Leon obviously became an action hero archetype, paired with the fact that Ada certainly seems like she has/had a penchant for style and flashiness, might've made their dynamic almost unavoidable. All that, and the supporting bit of Ada having literally directly saved him previously, and holding him at gunpoint instead of just pulling the trigger in an assassination, at least takes care of nearly all the shock. As for the dynamic, while I think most of it is just on the game, it isn't outright unreasonable- since Leon had literally become the action hero he probably always wanted to be. The last bit is an assumption, but character wise, at least after 2, Leon was never like, hero by necessity it felt like. He definitely seems written to enjoy saving people, enjoy suplexing the bad guys- and most importantly, enjoy saying witty one liners. That, and the possible link between Leon's character personality, and the fact that Devil May Cry was *going* to be RE4. With that in mind, Dante and Leon are very similar character wise- and probably not by accident.
I've watched 2 people play this game, maximilian_dood and Michael. I am having a much better time with Michael's playthrough because his choices of what to do when it comes to upgrades and ammo preservation are exactly like my own. Thank God for this man lol
I prefer max’s play through as he appreciates the game more and isn’t constantly talking over important points or going on tangents about things completely unrelated to the game.
@Matt Davila I preferred his playthrough as well for the same reasons I just wasn't as stressed out during this one because michael wasn't refusing to upgrade the pistols power just because he has the exclusive upgrade or making bizarre choices ignoring things right in front of his face lol
Remembering Ada’s dress in the original RE4, while sexy was very impractical. The new Ada looks great but she also looks like she works as a spy with Sterling Archer and Lana.
It blows my mind to think that when I first watched Michael play RE4 many many years ago, that I'd be here watching him do it again. But holy hell, is it infuriating watching him play now. lol. He seems so scatter brained the entire time, misses obvious things, and tries to mid-max instances WAY too much. Younger me was so much easier to please 😂
The problem with the longer streams is as the time goes on it gets less entertaining because of how tied they get. This should have been a let’s watch type deal. Even with 20 episodes.
The Gacha machines are locked in at game start...like 2 silvers 1 gold..has a set drop table...1 silver golds...3 silvers, 3 golds....2 golds 1 silver...every combo has a set drop table that's created at start of game...so you gotta run through the list...
so about the "gacha", in every playthrough you get a different seed with predetermined payouts based on the combination, so Silver Silver Silver will always give you the same results and maybe in the same order. So the best action is try all combinations until you run out and then decide what you want to do. For example: Try all SSS, write down their payouts, reload. Try all SSG, write down, reload. Try SGG, reload and try GGG. Then look at what you wrote down and find which reward you want and go for that, reload and put the combination for that
I also appreciate that the firing range is hard, but god damn did they overtune 2-A. The tmp has way too shit of accuracy for the challenge, which demands actual perfection if you want to three star it. You need to hit all targets, all skulls, never hit a sailor, and do it fast enough to make it to the bonus round to get all remaining targets and skulls. This wouldn’t be awful *IF* the tmp didn’t have such an rng based spread pattern. A bullet can fly off and hit anything, not just within your crosshairs, but also touching the outside edge of the lines of your crosshair. There are times when I would wait to shoot a skull until it was close enough that it took up the entire empty space between my crosshairs, centered perfectly, and STILL IT WOULD MISS RANDOMLY. Just awful. It took me an hour and a half to 3 star 2-A vs the 20 mins it took to 3 star both 2-B and 2-C together, because no matter how well planned I had the route, no matter how well I lined up my shots, the tmp still had a chance to veer way off and hit something that wasn’t even in my crosshairs. Worst part is… *this was with mouse and keyboard* If anyone was able to 3 star 2-A on controller, please let me know cause I genuinely think it would be nearly impossible
RE6 not the best RE it is a decent co op game though, least me and my friend had fun playing it as a duo. I also think Sherry and Jake was interesting conceptually. But much like 5 I feel it can only be enjoyed with another human playing it with you. Also the blinde dude, you can like commando crouch and just shiv the shit out of his back I jammed so many kitchen knives into him great value for kill there.
3:10:21 It _baffles_ me that Michael needed the chat to tell him that two gems which are BOTH red count as the same color. Why would he just assume that them being different shapes means the colors are automatically different? 8:52:26 It is insane to me that they figured out the charms are predetermined for the 3 gold and 3 silver combos, yet they don't even _consider_ trying 2 silvers and 1 gold or 2 golds and 1 silver. 9:48:15 - 9:48:57 This is one of the most frustrating things I've ever seen in a gameplay video. Michael _FULLY_ saw the gap. He even crouched and checked the map, confirming that you can go through and that there was an area there. But then he just........didn't go through?? Lmao wtf Also, am I the only one who's kind of annoyed that at several points, Alfredo stops paying attention to the game to Google and then spoil unlockables for Michael?
This stream was too long, the video really started suffering from Michael not being able to pay attention anymore. There's literally 15 minutes of Michael going down a ladder walking a circle, going back up, walking a circle, climb down again etc. I'm usually not bothered if streamers do dumb things, but this stream really annoyed me at times. That being said, I did enjoy the video overall. Wouldn't mind seeing more of these streams, just prefer them to be a little shorter.
It’s pretty meh. There’s no reason to play it when Shadow of War exists. However, the producers of the game copyrighted the nemesis system which has prevented the one genuinely good innovation the game made from being used in any other games, which is disgusting imo
These guys make such wild assumptions about/rush through stuff it drives me crazy. Not checking to see if different gems increase sell value (slotting 3 reds then slotting 3 blues to check for differences) and not reading the UI (the shooting gallery clearly stating what the bonus objective is). I know they're in Stream/Entertain Mode but in a log form video like this take a second to see what the game has to tell you about itself. Love the playthrough overall but sometimes I'm screaming at my monitor lol
Watch the first part again you know theres a section where Alfredo is gone and Michael slots all hs stuff and explains it to Alfredo and they looked at the gem slot chart over 2 dozen times in the first video maybe watch instead of listen. Edit Michael also mentions how he dosent wsnt to rush through and sell things before truly understanding the system.
