As far as the visuals for the content goes, she has a condition called Synesthesia where she has said that she sees colors when she hears certain sounds and music, and that she tries to portray in her videos. "Seeing sounds." Bad Guy video for example, she said that song was yellow to her and that last part at the end is red because that's what the bass heavy music looked like to her.
I didn't know this had a name for it until now. I see colors with music too. Interesting. 🤯

Bro she comes up with all this on her own, she’s said it in couple interviews. I’m sure she gets a bit of help here and there but the creative aspect she comes up with it down to how she wants her videos shot.
Her brother write some songs
Her brother writes most of the music, produces al of it ( baselines, etc) and assists with lyrics. He’s a huge part of the creative process, she’s the charismatic star with amazing voice talent. People always want to believe an artist does it all, but it doesn’t diminish her, all artists have creative teams. In this case, Finneas is a truly major talent and absolutely critical to the process.

Billies team is her family, her mom, dad, and brother Finneas. Her and her brother write the songs, and produce the music in his bedroom. Ocean Eyes is the song that put her on; Finneas wrote it for his band but gave it to Billie cause he thought her voice would be perfect for it, and so she could use it for a dance routine as she is also a dancer. She recorded it, and released it onto SoundCloud when she was 13 or 14. Ocean Eyes has been played on SoundCloud something like 200,000,000, and her music all together has over a billion plays/views. She is versatile, she doesn't stick to one genre, I would even say she has her own style. She can really SANG, yes SANG. Listen to some of her live stuff, specifically "Ocean Eyes" on "We Found New Music", and "Copycat" on Mahogany Sessions.

@@chasitygarcia2336 Yes she does! I was late to the party, I just found out about her about 3 weeks ago and was instantly hooked. I've been binge watching lots of videos of hers and about her, I already know the lyrics to many of her songs. She is definitely very creative, and wise beyond her years while also maintaining some childish qualities. To me she is one of those artists that only come once in a great while, a living legend already, she will be around for a very long time. Super talented.

Hostage and all her videos are all her ideas. She has the visuals (colors, themes, setting, etc.) ready by the time the song's complete. That's all her work, no one else. She turns over her ideas, sketches, footage. Seems like each of her videos has a different director.

She actually said in an interview that for Ocean Eyes, (which was written by her brother but he envisioned the vocals being done by a female singer) they put her in hair and makeup that she didn't like and since then she's been in control of her videos. So she learned through colaberating that she wanted to be the one with the final say, and it shows in how much her videos have evolved.
They're siblings, Finneas and Billie, Finneas wrote it for an ex and he's amazing and he has an EP. They work in a bedroom which has some studio equipment in it and it's really tiny.

She draws what she feels about the song, before making the song. She is way talented. She's not really sad or crazy all the time. When I saw her in an interview, she was pretty funny.

I think you should react to some of her live stuff. Specifically these are beautiful - her covers of Bad by Michael Jackson, end of the world, you don’t get me high anymore. Ocean Eyes was actually an assignment that they're dance teacher gave them when she was 13yrs old this is the song Finneas and Billie came up with for a dance and it's also what went viral n made their career.... She suffers from Tourette's and Synaesthesia as well so she has said when their making a song she's already picturing what the video should look/feel like

Her vocals sound so much easier than they are. They are very complex. Ask any vocal coach. Her range and control even in the songs where she seems to be whispering are insane and NOT easy to do. She’s very talented, vocally. People think that vocal talent is all about belting like Whitney but it’s honestly about control.
