A little Fun Fact, these Geometrical Gardens you see a lot in modern Homes are actually a Revival of some Sort from the French Gardens which were built during the Baroque. They used actually the same Rules and Forms, just with new and modern materials and Plants.
There was an exhibition or was it an Article about an Artist and his Work in a Magazine? Sorry, it was years ago, during my time at University, that I saw it but it is still in my Memory, mostly because it made me realize that the English Landscape Garden is more my taste than this. The Artist of that Work actually replanned some of the Original Gardens in France with new Materials and Plants, he wanted to criticise the thinking of some of his colleagues that they really create something new and unseen. His message was like this: "We do create new Art, but the Rules, most of the aesthetics and even Color palettes were already all used in the Centuries before us, be humble and respect it, so one day we might be able to evolve from it. But we are not there yet!"
Oh and it is not only an improvement, but it also gives that Family actually a House in which anyone would want to play ^^ Townies were created so that People who didn't want to use a self-made Sim to play the Sims without using CAS. So it is perfect IMO ;)

Please do the Goth home. This is the first version of The Sims that I haven’t played with the Goth’s at all. Also on the vibe of the Landgraab’s, I would love to see your take on Johnny Zest. I love his mobile home vibe, but it could be done so much better.

Nancy Landgrab is definitely a sad beige mom. This house is perfect for her.
I didn’t look inside the Landgraab’s house until Neighborhood Stories came out. Then I had to figure out where to put their babies and pets! This was much needed! Now with Growing Together and house guests, that little guest house will come in handy. I love it.
Fantastic! Yeah, I wonder sometimes why the base game homes didn't have extra rooms when they knew they were going to be adding family based packs and pets 🤔

This is SUCH a gorgeous upgrade, while still keeping the character of the house intact. I've never liked the Landgraab house even though I liked what the devs were going for with it. It just missed the mark a bit, I think in large part because of how limited the build options were when the game first released.
I especially like what you did with the windows and with the roofing. The og house had a lack of vertical lines which made it look a bit sad and soggy. Taller windows, losing the floor trim on that big frontal column thingy, and something about the new roofing really fixed that. Absolutely gorgeous!
I also really love the new landscaping. The perfectly manicured sod patches fit in so well with the surrounding world AND flex the Landgraab family fortune. Just stunning!

If i can offer a tip for the recessed platform parts, you can toggle delete mode like with walls, and then you can skip a step and save time! You just need to hold control while you draw!
