Some beautiful footage Mark, stabilisation looks amazing. Will look forward to your review.
Thanks Christian - the camera review has already been published :-)
@@AlphaCreativeSkillsthanks Mark , watching right now 🙂🙂
Stunning audio too. And music soundbed. Could easily standalone as an ambient fieldscape. Images are pretty good too!
Thanks - I am primarily a stills photographer, so hopefully brought something slightly different to the review of a vlogging camera
Ive had mine about a week. I like the time lapse. It quite long. Ill have to try that.
Creating time-lapse clips is really easy with this camera :-)
Mark, I am not familiar with any of these lenses probably due to the fact that they are all crop lenses. I have 30 full frame sony lenses. How well will those work? I have the 16-35mm Power zoom, the small prime set (24, 40 and 50mm) the 20mm f1.8, the 24, and 35 gm's and the 50mm f1.2 etc... I mean, I know what happens to focal length with the crop, that is not the issue. The question is does this defeat the small size or is it worth getting without buying new lenses so that I can have a small vlogging camera rather than carrying around one of my other cameras?
I have had no issues working with full frame lenses on my APS0C bodies - this includes the 35mm F1.8, 55mm F1.8 ZA, 85mm F1.8 and both the FE 70-200 G lenses. I offer personal guidance on assembling camera kits that meets a photographers needs on my Patreon.com/markgaler support channel.

We can continue this conversation on the Patreon Q&A forum. I have notifications switched off on RUclips because I receive several hundred requests for support a day with movies going back more than 6 or 7 years 9Sony are very slow to retire old cameras and old lenses).
Sony have many models with each sensor size, every unique model costs them. They could probably rationalise the models per sensor size so models cover more features & use cases within the group.
Have a RX100 do everything a 1" vlogger needs.
Thanks for sharing
I'm okay with the upgrade but NO Mechanical Shutter is wild for a 2nd gen ZVe10 Mark II.
I suspect their market research showed the vloggers do very little stills photography and removing a very expensive component that is only used for stills will allow them to keep the price down for the entire life of the product.
That is very wide.
The 11mm has a 16.5mm full-frame equivalent angle-of-view but you need to factor in an additional 1.5x magnification ratio when using active SteadyShot mode (22.75mm).
Watch my ZV-E1 full-frame and ZV-E10 II cropped sensor. Check out my review. Most of the quality at a fraction of the price.
