I don't think you know what pop means. Their latest stuff isn't even close to pop. Sure, it's also not as "rock n' roll" as their earlier stuff, but it's still pretty damn good in my opinion. For example, Run is one of my favorites from the Foos.

Yorick D'Hoir many takes. also, not being out of breath from playing for an hour really helps. good recording microphones help too
