+Jake Wilson yes he made it look easy. Both of them stood up with it easy. Which is ALMOST always the case for the majority of the athletes who compete in this speed-strength sport. With Lu's WR record attempt with 211, it did look a little tougher for him here in the recovery than it did for the Korean. Plus the Korean managed to get out of the hole much faster with a kilo more on the bar, especially on his third attempt. But nonetheless, both athletes were very impressive in their valiant WR attempts.
Sa probably has one of the best/most efficient cleans in the 77kg, he really makes it look easy. I really hope he does 211kg one day, the clock is ticking for him in my opinion. Thanks for the upload!
USA does not have any weightlifters that are truly competitive on an international level. There are many reasons for this, such as most athletes in the US choosing a sport that pays well like football, as opposed to weightlifting that pays nothing and requires decades of training from childhood to compete with Chinese, Russian etc athletes. There is also the doping issue, with many countries not having the anti-doping scrutiny that the US does.
Agree with everything but the last. US has the best masking technology and physiologists in the world. Let alone medaling, the fact that no male American even qualifies for the Olympics is a disgrace.
Gotta say, I´m a little disappointed with the commentators. Sa just never really fixed it overhead. He may have been incredibly close but he just couldn´t fully extend his arms in the end and was very wobbly on the jerk. Also, strict judges would have called it a pressout, even if he had fixed it overhead. I don´t want to take anything away from what he did but that just wasn´t a complete lift. However, I´m looking forward to seeing the record being broken in july. Be it by Lu, Su or Sa ;)
It's not just the weight class. No one American man can even make the Olympics for weightlifting for the past 2 Olympics, and there hasn't been a medal for 30 years.
Sa Jae Hyouk had the scariest leg strength here, that 212kg clean came up looking like featherweight.
+9evolve ive seen it, it wasn't too bad
but.......are you blind? the chinese guy with the world record made it look easy and had a very clean lift.

Korean lifter has a incredible strenght in clean movement, he lifted 212 so easy
a legend is born
Sa Jae Hyouk almost get that 212kg in World 2009 just PressOut and he don't hold long enough to stay still
Mr.Sa's split is insanely fast, but 211kg is just heavy heavy weight.
It's 212 which he attempt in Goyang 2009 .Sa attempt 211 on Olympics 2008 ,World 2011

Sa's clean is sick!!
This announcer saying everything is a power jerk 😂😂
This is one of the toughest weigh classes for which there is no USA lifter even remotely close to competing in at this level.
