When the person tries to leave before the specified time that would result in them being caught, an item is left behind on accident that allows the heir to locate them. When a person is found by the heir, their lives are joined in both are happier.
But in China they usually call the FL as Cinderella and most of these videos titles are originally posted in Chinese and YT translates it to your language automatically
I agree with your definition, but I think the Chinese use this term to indicate that she's the "good" girl who is misunderstood and treated badly until the end when everything gets a "happily ever after" ending--just like in the fairy tale.
Madam English translator you can easily apply to China to help with correcting the auto generated titles. Or you can keep quiet and move along… can you speak Mandarin or Cantonese? No… so keep quiet as they are already doing you a favour by putting the video up with English subtitles they don’t owe you anything
