It looks worse than Season 5 and 6 of The Clone Wars in some ways but an improvement on Season 7 of The Clone Wars.

I love the Kenobi show more than others, but that moment just doesn’t make sense. Obviously Kenobi couldn’t kill Vader in the show, but they didn’t have to write it the way they did. Having Kenobi win the duel, only for Kenobi to leave Vader living.

Some of these shots look like concept art. I mean that in the best way. The show looks gorgeous. I hope they are able to keep the tone of this show more mature and intense like Clone Wars Season 7
According to the showrunner the matte paintings are actually painted canvas that they scanned in, just like it was done in the old days.
We need aura farming scenes like the s7 hallway scene.
Seeing how he's chopping people to pieces, I would guess that it's going to be more mature.

almost make me want to see rebels in that style instead of the more cartoony one, same for resistance (more targeted at children i know, but it could definitely have helped a bit for the sequels)

Look. I really liked the content of clone wars, but the animation was absolutely atrocious. It’s not hard to do better than what that was especially from one of the wealthiest entertainment companies in the world. This does look good

As a kid i always wanted to see more maul in star wars and while they did in the clone wars and rebels, this is what i wanted and im glad they have done it.
I’m so glad Maul’s got his own spin-off Sam Witwer is such a talented voice actor for being able to voice Starkiller, Maul and even Palpatine perfectly.

they did in bad batch, but they used regular clone troopers and regular TK troopers more than once in bad batch as well, and used regular TK troopers but in the wrong armor (Underworld), and correctly used clone pilot for the shuttle on dessix but that wasnt a gunship.
Mando or whatever had regular shock trooper flying gunship, for some reason

I love that they're doing a whole new story with Maul! He's my favorite SW character, so it's always great to see new projects with him. When I heard about this, I thought they were adapting "Son of Dathomir" from the comics
I hope scenes from it get incorporated. I mean, there's a lot of lost content just waiting to be brought to life. Delta Squad, Son of Dathomir (as you said), but also the Revan content, how Boba Fett got trained under Cad Bane.
It's a travesty Son of Dathomir was never adapted. Should have replaced the Martez Sisters arc since it's way more important to explaining the Siege of Mandalore

@IsaacDionne they cut out the short gaps between mauls words. If done right it can be unnoticeable, but because of how maul speaks, his slow and drawn out voice, it makes cutting out the gaps difficult.
Also how they do the audio levels can affect how noticeable the cuts are.

One of my earliest memories I had to be 6 or 7 years old, dressed as Darth Maul for Halloween in 1999. He's been my favorite character since and continues to be. This show looks incredible and was made for fans like me. 🙏🏾
