This reminds me so much of the first time I was with my husband.. Also I should mention we had a history with each other, I moved from Ontario when I was 31/2, he was 8 and he would go through my grannies yard daily.. Our paths would cross when he was 20 with his girlfriend who was 18, I was 15 with at that time with who I thought was the love of my life..He asked me did my father know what I was doing, I on no polite terms told him what he could do..The next we would actually in person cross paths was when I was 21, I was with a friend of his, same scenario he didn't like me and I didn't Iike him.. There were numerous times our paths would cross until the time I was 30 single mother of a little girl and he was 35 abd single .. The rest is history, we are married 35 years parents of one and grandparents of 4..
