  • Here I share how I personally organize my student's Abeka Academy Curriculum. I use a rolling file cabinet with 34 hanging file folders (1 for each week) with manilla folders (2 per week) and a 3 ring binder with 5 double pocket dividers.

    The most organized person I’ve ever come across! This looks amazing!

    Thank you, this is so helpful. We are first year homeschooling and Halfway through year switching over to Abeka. Loved how detailed you explained.
    Also love how you did your binder.
    Just FYI, closer to the end the camera was moving too fast and got dizzy. Would be helpful if camera was moving slowly as I easily get migraines.

    This is very helpful! Thank you for sharing how you organize everything. Did Abeka provide a supply list, or did you go through page by page and figure it out yourself? Have you considered selling a downloadable pdf of your plan book?

    I thinks it’s a lot todo but definitely will make it easier if you just go it at the beginning

      It’s a lot to organize but in only an hour or two and you have the whole school year prepared.

    i love the work you added for your planner, did you do those on your own or found some templates online? im also starting my daughter for abeka 1st grade.

      I did most on my own. The attendance I made it similar to the one I had on my Plum Paper Planner. We started 1st grade last week. You should join our facebook group. Search "Abeka Class of 2033".

    Thanks for sharing you have made so easy to understand ty.😊 I have a question about am/pm reading circle time on the video manual says L4 what books do I use im confused my dd is just starting too read. I ordered the complete video kit and have so many books im not sure which one to use thank you.

    • @bzlifewith5
      @bzlifewith5  3 года назад +2

      You need to choose 1 of the reading circles to do. Giraffes are for above average readers. Monkeys are for average readers. Elephants are for below average readers. Depending on the group, they will be reading certain books. They all start with the same book, but the Giraffes move faster and the Elephants move slower. Giraffes finish all the books by the end of the year. Check out the video manual for more specific info on that.

    Did you order a kit? Or did you pick and choose

    • @bzlifewith5
      @bzlifewith5  3 года назад +1

      My son did this grade 2 years ago so I already had all the readers and teachers keys, so I only ordered the workbooks. I chose the “tuition only” option so I got the DVDs and the tests.

    Where did you get the planner?

    • @bzlifewith5
      @bzlifewith5  Год назад +1

      Are you referring to the video manual? That is sent by Abeka when you choose the Academy version with videos (DVDs or streaming) and their teacher teaches your student. If you go to their website (abeka.com) they have video samples of the teachers. You can choose the grade and subject to see a sample of the videos with Abeka Academy.

      @@ilyBeautyQueens that I don't know. We are doing second grade and I know that grade does the speed drills and the little test in the booklet no state testing. There will be some work you have to send in. Parents have to grade and abeka will go over it.
