- Join me on an extraordinary journey through the British Airways 787 First-Class experience. This was one of my most excellent flights in terms of comfort, amenities and food, but I highlighted a couple of drawbacks at the end of the video.
Overall, I would say that British Airways is undoubtedly a few steps behind some of the other top first-class products in the world, but it still presents a fantastic way to cross the Atlantic for those of us going between Europe and North America.

I was cabin crew with BA for over 30yrs. I get what you're saying about a lot of things. Fortunately for BA, when I was flying, passengers told us that it was time and time again, the attitude and attention of the crew which brought them back. Interesting, though not surprising, to learn that your cabin crew experience was less than you had expected. I'm afraid that the "good days" are long gone. I wish I could have met you whilst I was flying. Love your vidéos by the way. No bla, bla, bla. Straight and to the point, no dawdling. Keep 'em coming.👍🙂
Thank you so much for your comments and insight. Interestingly, I flew this route last week on the 777 and the experience was vastly different with an exceptional crew. I've noticed significant variability when I suppose one would expect consistency in other airlines I've featured like Singapore or EVA, especially in F.
Appreciate the feedback as well. I hope to keep my style the same by letting the experience speak for itself and offering my two cents at the end :).

I have to agree with the service on BA flights.
Recently travelled to the Maldives in Club World return which is considered by BA as a premium route.
The costs of the flights were £6k for two of us alone.
The cabin crew in most part were just average in the Club World cabin. Try to get a smile out of any of the crew was near on impossible and extremely disappointing. Some of the crew looked like they really didn't want to be there, if they worked for me they would be let go i'm afraid. as their standards and customer care were shocking.

Thanks for watching and for your insight. As I commented on another viewer's post, there seems to be significant crew variability, which I hope to understand better. I agree that consistency in service sets an airline apart and brings them to the front such as Singapore and Emirates. Certainly can be multifactorial such as training, salary, crew conditions etc.

Great review and in agreement with what I have seen lately... BA is not up to par with other competitive airlines in First class and cabin crew seems to have an attitude problem when it comes to service or may be an ALTITUDE problem...🤣🤣

Not all that impressive for 1st class. Been on many of BC flights that were just as nice, if not better.
Their international F is very mediocre. But fortunately it's pretty easy to an upgrade to it on J fare and status.
I echo your opinion. Funnily enough, I have another flight on the same route in a week, would be interesting to compare.
That’s smaller than singapore airlines business class…..ba need to up there game….they’ve been left behind……nowadays BA stands for Budget Airlines 🤦🏻♂️
I agree with you that BA is not in the top "tier" of first class as compared to the Middle Eastern/Asian carriers. Nevertheless, I still found it relaxing and am grateful for the opportunity to try this out. Who knows what the future holds for first class in BA, but I do think they are overdue for a hard product reboot.

@@figscanfly I flew Singapore business class to Singapore on an a380 9v-sku 2 weeks ago from lhr outstanding!!! The cabin crew on sia is what makes the flight much more enjoyable! Looking forward to your review and what you think….I’ll be watching out for your video 👍🏻
