Then there will be a second part which will link Birmingham to Manchester and again was meant to be done by 2032/33 but has been pushed back now to between 2035 and 2040. ...I was 16 when the HS1 was built (2003), 22 when HS2 was proposed, turning 35 in 2022. If it takes as long as 2040 to finish I will be 52 going 53...

We use our train tracks for freight not really for commuting.
