Please check your history. Ahmedshah did not defeat Karnadev and renamed Karnavati as Ahmedabad. Actually Ahmedshah and Karnadev did not coexist.

City is good but food is not as good like Indore. Don't know why they put SUGAR in all things and less SUGAR in tea. Anybody clear why eat so much SUGAR by gujrati people????
Maybe coz they're so sweet that's why they keep sugar in their mouth all time.. well no offense.. They're really good people
actually Gujarati food is sweet because of one reason...Gujarat is a hot state and sugar retains water in the body(example Shikanji) so it is actually because of its geography.

Actually it's gur(jaggery) because it's cool to body in harsh climates like state such as Gujarat, nowadays sugar has replaced it just for good taste
