Always a pleasure watching you ply your craft! Thanks for putting one of these together for the giveaway. 👊
Blade HQ thanks so much guys! Let’s do it again soon👊🏼
@@whitandpark heck yeah!
@@whitandpark i always wondered how is your leather so stiff ? mine is very floppy . Is there a technique to stiffen it up ? i tried boiling it but it gets from 1mm to 5 mm thick .. Can you help me out with this ?
How do
I enter the giveaway
Gut chap my broter nice gut dableseyu
Never realized how much work goes into a little project like this. Turned out sweet.
Omg I need one.....thats awesome...yet
I'd request black......
I owe it to u for helping me take my work to the next level. Watching u showed me what tools to use and how to properly finish edges . It’s a hobby I just started to make small items like sheaths and wallets with hand tools and saddle or lock stitching. Thanks again
How much was the initial start up cost? Tools, machinery, leather etc..
I’ve made a couple of sheaths similar to the one you made. They are relatively easy and great for beginners. I enjoyed watching your method. I picked up a couple new tricks. I guess old dogs can learn new tricks. Thanks for sharing.
I like that you talk about the leather weights/size and type. It helps tremendously for us beginners.
Really appreciate your channel and your energy level. I do miss you using more of the manual methods versus the automation.
I live in the UK, I love your videos especially your absolute attention to detail.
Leathermann Super Tool...I used a plywood form and with a leather flap and double leather belt loop..It is used for Industrial Construction work..Coal Power Plants, gas refineries, cement plants, copper smelters.. used for crawling around in tight places..so that is why I have a flap..Durable snap..Boilermaker welders have a lot of stuff fall out of their pockets..and fall between the steam tubes to the area below..It sure comes in handy...
I like a hole for the belt clip to lock onto. It makes the clip lay smoothly on also. I like to sew 🧵 a magnet 🧲 into it for retention... on the farm it’s so easy to loose, and so important to keep.
Good video..Like the machine for sanding the edges and edging wooden wheel.
Oh man you're killing me. Its bad enough just seeing the P2 today and you have a holster for it.
haha did you enter the giveaway for the sheath??? I guess you also get a P2 as well which is cool i guess;)
@@whitandpark yeah buddy🤙
Stock & Barrel Co how do I enter
I’m so glad bladehq put me onto your channel mate. I can watch you work all day, which is good, as I’m stuck doing chemo therapy today, so what better way than to take my mind off it than to watch you do your thing. I may not win the free p2, but I’ve found a great channel. Legend!!
After using it for the molding of the sheath, don’t forget to clean & oil the blade so it doesn’t rust.
Good fit the 2 of you Leathermans craftmenship is 2nd to none Ditto for your leather work Thanks
Very cool project! What also would be cool and practical is a horizontal carry sheath that doesn’t get in the way of crouching down or sitting.
Nice work! It's great to see someone not only use great skill but obviously loves what they do and takes pride in their work. Thanks for the vid!
Just saw your feature in the BladeHQ video. I thought it was really cool that you were chosen. I can't wait for the video to start.
haha that's cool you saw it! Thanks man!
Thanks for watching!
Stock & Barrel Co That is how I learned about you, too. I think it would be awesome, to see ads for related channels for the content I see on RUclips (car videos, crafting, tools, outdoors, paranormal and health related), versus stupid and lame freemium games!
Work always gets in the way of fun
Fantastic work, love that.
Love your studio!
A true leatherman user I carried one every day for over 20 years and used to hate getting a new one because of the break in period I’ve since retired and do not need to do aevery day carry although I do have the same one you make the sheath for and that one came with a crappy nylon sheath ? Fortunately I had some old leather ones from previous tools I wore out and replaced but whenever I do use the new tool it reminds me of all the other ones I have broken in over the years Leatherman Should take note of this as my son bought a Gerber brand and from day one that one could be managed with only one hand and in all honesty I was very impressed with the over all quality of the Gerber myself plus as a lifelong boater I had only found one Leatherman that had a knife blade that could be opened without opening other parts with one hand a very important feature for a boater that has many lines all over the place that can cause a incident of someone or thing getting trapped in the ropes and needing to be cut free once we had a dog that got tangled up and needed such a procedure luckily the boat is a fishing vessel and a filet knife was close by the dog is fine and she still loves boating ironically it was her life jacket that caused the tangle and we now use a different brand for her safety I enjoy your work quite a bit and the videos have taught me some new things I personally have a Walking Foot sewing machine I bought to do marine canvas and vinyl and leather rafting was always something I’ve been interested in doing at one point years ago I was extremely captivated by a man making saddles in Coloniasburg Virginia during a visit of course he hand stitched everything he did demonstrating how it was done in the Colonial time period
Great Skillz! Love your craft Brotha
Thanks so much!
That is a beautiful sheath, and I’m anxiously awaiting my Free P4 to arrive. I’d love to have a leather sheath for it, but I’m not a big personal fan of pancake style holsters, except yours. From what I’ve heard, Leatherman will have an Ainsworth style of leather sheath for the Free P2 and P4 soon enough.
What I would like to know, is if you do custom sheaths, or sell on Etsy?
This should be a game changer for me being a mechanic. !!!
this is one of my favorite channels!
I sub to more than 100 channels and yours is in the top five.
wow that's a HUGE compliment. I really appreciate that! Thanks for watching:)
My buddy designed this knife. He put a lot of thought and care into it. He also doesn't like the sheath it comes with lol.
Looks like you have opened up a new market towards EDC peeps ! Great work on the sheath ! My uncle (retired) was a leather craftsman too, and I wished I picked it up before he called it in.
Top notch work looks great! I have carried the Leatherman wave for the last eight years and looking forward to getting the new p2 or p4. I would love to have one of your holsters too!
Just got my starter kit from Tandy’s thank you guys for the awesome content
Loved watching work and the creative process. Awesome, just awesome.
I was so freaking stoked to see you on a Blade HQ video! Really awesome!
We were stocked to have him!
Cool project
Love your sheaths, sir!
That song at the end was sweet!
Hey are you going to sell the digital template?
The Mahogany was a great choice! The clip on the front makes it stand out as well.
Nice work Parker!
Hey! I don't know if it was ever requested but in one of your next video could you Do a leather apron? It would be very appropriate for this Chanel! Cheers from Québec, Canada! Love your craft
Nicely done.
This would be a nice template to use/buy! 😎
Beautiful work
i cannot BEGIN to tell you how much i appreciate you turning the volume down during the hammering process. SO MANY creators forget to do that. it’s infuriating 👿
This vid just inspired me to make a sheath for my Leatherman OHT. The original sheath that is can with is Frankenstein with the universal tool...Duck Tape. Great vids and awesome leather work.
Will you be taking orders for this holder?
I hate to say it, but your videos are great and very presentable on all the leathercraft! Keep up the good work and God bless!👍
Just started leatherwork. Love you're videos. Been watching for a while. First time I commented.
I see That you used two layers of 2/3 ounce leather on each side but would it work if I used one layer of 5/6 leather on each side? I like your work and videos.
Awesome video! Whats the sanding machine called you were using to sand the edges?
are you going to offer this on your website?
Great video..
Have you tried to dampen the edges before sanding? I do that all the time, gives less dust and nicer edges. But be careful so you don't burnish/burn them..
Well.....I WAS gonna log off and go ride my Harley around the mountains but.....meh.....they'll still be there tomorrow. Looking forward to this!
*Siiiip*
Nice setup 👍
Beautiful work, great attention to detail and I love your shop.
I was just thinking that your leather was awful thin when you explained the liner. Good job!
Awesome project Parker! I'm curious how you choose how much larger the top part has to be when you make your pattern if you understand what I mean? And with that, how much wider the distance between the stitch lines is with regards to the width of the Leatherman. Would be cool if you can give me some insight here :)
Do u custom made stuff , like if I send my flashlight?
Awesome work man
is there any chance of getting the pattern you used?
Thanks
Keep up the good work!
People wonder why a quality sheath cost money. Look how much work went into this. We’ll done!!
When you backstitch, are you lifting the foot, moving the project back, and sewing back over the last few stitches?
How can I get the pattern for this? The pattern being sold on the site isn't the same as this style or look.
I just received a Leatherman Free P2. This is my first leatherman so I am curious... How does it compare to the wave.
Wow this is so cool
Thanks Neal:)
I would like one ☝🏻 for my new P4 and 1” circumference flashlight 🔦
Jeff Winters Ooooh! That’s a great idea! 💡
Good night, I'm sorry but I can't find the pattern on your website. thanks
Great review, as usual. Ty. You have a load of talent!! (The P-2 is too expensive, so won't have one till their first major sale campaign.)
How much?
Amazing job!
Good job
Absolutely Incredible Workmanship. Thank you so much...Abe Azar
Is this pattern no longer available?
Just wondering what type of thread you're using, looks much beefier than the #69 bonded Nylon I'm used to seeing in machine-stitched leather.
(Sorry, I know nothing about leather craft) was that just water you soaked it in, and is it used to soften the leather for moulding?
i found your channel from the video that started this video from blade HQ. still watching your videos and glad to see your work. thanks for your time. :-)
Love the work man, I’ve been watching your work for a few months, one question tho, how do you figure how much bigger to make the front side than the back side? Thanks I’m advance! Keep up the good work!
Looks really good. Awesome job. My Leatherman Free didn’t come with a belt clip.
Do you essentially double the height of the knife for the extra length of the top piece?
Will this fit a leatherman MUT or the EOD version? And will this be available to buy?
Tow of my favorite RUclipsrs that I’m subscribed to: blade hq & stock & barrel co
Awesome video 👍
I need one of these for my p2
Ditto...do you sell these @stockandbarrel?
Great job! Turned out very nice! Enjoyed the video.

Why wouldn’t you wet mold it before assembly? Just out of curiosity.
Thank you for sharing this awesome video.
Hey bic send this dude some fire making gizmos

Thks for the links, stock & barrel co. The best ¡¡
what was that you were putting on the edge. the bottle interests me
brilliant. what did you use to paint the edges? i have some empty bottles of those markers in my office and can fill it with whatever you are using!
haha nvmd. I should've watched till the end before asking the questions.
Awesome!
What is the thickness of the leather you used?
Amazing. Gorgeous. Im doing this. Uk fan
We’re do you order your leather I like to start my own leather work company too.
I'd like that holster. URL doesn't load for me though.
How can I get a hold of the leather sheath for the leather man free
Do you make a sheath for a benchmade adamas auto? If so how much?
When he’s smashing the leather, sounds like the beginning of, “we will rock you”
Tandy link is not working. Also, can someone get a plan for this project?
Would really love to purchase this..
So nice! 👌
