- This is a how to video on learning new or existing TPMS sensors to the correct location on the car. Using a tool specific for the job.
Said tool has a few different manufacturers but all are fine and are used for certain GM and Vauxhall vehicles (Vauxhalls link to GM ended a few years ago and they are now owned by Peugeout so newer Vauxhalls won’t use this though all of the Astra K models do).

Thanks very much for this video - saved me a small fortune. I had the TPMS sensor replaced and was able to re-learn the system so it's now working.

If you rotate your tyres, or have new ones fitted, somehow the tyres always seem to end up on the wrong corners. When the last new tyres went on the fitter got them wrong even after I had chalked the rims to help him!!!! This video, and the cheap device, makes correction very easy.

After going through so many sites trying to find out how to re-pair a sensor to the system, this one gave clear instructions.
Brought the tool on Amazon for less than a tenner and all 4 now registering with the car.

I would think it’s because this is an optional tool plus they want you to go to a dealer for stuff like this for easy money.

I got the tool but can't figure out why it doesn't work.
It's exactly the same as yours, except that on mine I need to keep pressing the button (even says so in the instructions), as the green light doesn't stay on otherwise.
It's a new battery too.
Tried with different tires just to check, doesn't work.
I just done same thing as you,everything worked but the tyre pressure symbol is still on the dashboard. I can t do anything to make it go. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi Matthew, My sensor in my car has snapped! been quoted £91 for brand new one from Vauxhall. if i was to buy one and get it installed would this tool programme the new one? as I was speaking to Vauxhall and they want £120 to reprogram the new sensor :@
Thanks for the video. My TPMS readings have been all over the shop for ages. I suspected a faulty sensor so when it came to change the tyres i swapped over to some SRI alloys (I have an Elite as well) but it seems the TPMS system still needs relearning anyway. Found that little device on Amazon. Hoping it works as the constant tyre pressure warnings are doing my head in 😂
Edit. It only bloody worked! Had to pay 4.25 for a 9v battery though

Hi, wondering if anyone can help and excuse my ignorance but have bought the device and it worked a treat until it got to one tyre and it’s not beeping, what does this mean please and thank you.

hey I replaced all 4 of my wheels and since then I have this warning sign on my dashboard. Can I reset it somehow without this device or do I need to go to mechanic or something? Also I dont have key, it's a start button

Do you need to have tpms sensors installed in your tires?
Well yes because otherwise the device won't do anything
Would this help if my screen is saying some of my tyres are at 29 pressure but when i check them, they are at 37?
I couldn’t say for sure. But I suppose relearning them is closest to switching them off and on again.
Out of curiosity, are all wheels reading wrong because it could be that wheels are reading the wrong corner. Which if it is the case then this would definitely solve that.
@matthewr1990 it seems like all are incorrect. Wasn't sure if they needed this just to read accurately.
My car isn't even warning me of low tyre pressure even when they are below the limit.

I have purchased the tool and it works for the from two tyres but for the back two it does not beep.
Any one knows why ??
Could be dead sensors in your rear wheels.
hi silly question but i have a faulty tps so im just going to replace it as it goes on and off when it wants....can i just buy a new tps and follow this guide?
Absolutely yes as long as it’s the correct type of TPMS for these vehicles
