Can't believe you were in my hometown Ards!! That Spoons is so far down the pecking order of pubs that I forgot it existed. Its next door to the Courthouse though ...if any positive can be taken from that.
The video is impressive n all but what's more amazing is that in Irish spoons they can actually pour Guinness whereas spoons over here they may as well just shit in the glass with some of the pints they send out

Even though I think this is such a funny idea for a video, I’m a bit disappointed you chose Wetherspoons as your watering hole. How they have treated their staff through this pandemic is beyond shocking. Maybe next time support some small local pubs instead 😊
I thought I lived in a place with weird alcohol rules. Bars here open at 7am during the week and 11am on Sunday and can be open until 2am every day and there was a bill in the legislature last year for bars to be able to stay open until 4am. Bars closing before midnite is a weird concept to me.
Pubs and bars are different. Wetherspoons is pub not a bar so it shuts earlier to get all the drunks out so they can go to other bars in town and the pub can clean up ready for the morning.
