This is by far the best instructional video I've found. Ziggy works slowly and methodically while describing every step. Thank you, Ziggy, for taking such care and for sharing your knowledge with us.

This video just blew my mind! This is definitely the best instructional video for the lucet that I've seen. Thanks, Ziggy!

The instructions are so understandable and the camera work is shot so that every movement is perfectly clear--an excellent job! I've been inspired to find the website and plan to order the full kit because the lucet in the video looks so well designed.

I bought a lucet from a flea market last weekend and now going through the tutorial videos on You Tube and this has been the best!

Excellent instructional video. I have never tried doing this, and only recently heard of the technique. I just ordered the lucet in both wooden and plastic, with faith that I can master it. Thanks.

Hi Ziggy. I met you at the NEC March 2016 and bought your lucet for my daughter who is studying textiles. She had her first go last night and your instructions were so clear to follow she got the fundamental and the fast grab really video is a very helpful addition.

In a short period of time, using my new lucet from Ziggy and the fast grab method I have produced half a meter of cord. Magic. With my old lucet this would have taken me a very long time. Thank you Ziggy!

I just discovered the Lucet Fork yesterday! And already I am looking up everything there is to know and coming across various, unique types of Lucets. I am amazingly intrigued! Thank you for sharing this technique. :)

What a fantastic technique! I've been struggling with tension. My knots are so tight the thread doesn't want to pull easily. I'm going to try your technique. Thank you so much!

Thank you Ziggy - what an excellent video. Could you do one showing how you use the Lucet with the bobbin on top? Came to try lucet cord making through a 7 day challenge from Stitch Diva in America.

      Hi Lesley,
As you start out the bobbin carries the skeins and also slides onto the forks to 'lock' it. At a later date you can use multiple bobbins as shuttles in advanced lucetting to create multi strand braids...see website thelucet.co.uk
