    My father in law, was with the 442, and one of the most dedicated people to our country that I have known. In spite of everything he went through he was never bitter or hateful, or made excuses. Hiroshi lived a good productive life and loved America,

    Very wonderful National Day of Remembrance with distinguished speakers reflecting the diversity of
    America and including the ambassador from Japan. They and the carefully selected music, video and slides all contributed to a thoughtful reflection of the past 80 years since EO 9066.
